Every project introduces us to someone new.

There was a moment early in my business when a client looked at my quote like I’d just handed them a ransom note or something. Y’all know the look - the eyebrows up, lips tight, calculator fingers twitching.

For a split second, I felt that old instinct rise up.
The urge to shrink.
To justify.
To offer a discount - but I didn’t actually want to give.

But then something clicked and I looked around their home. The designer furniture. The weekly lash appointments on the fridge calendar. The traveling personal nail technician. The Stanley cups lined up on the counter like trophies.

And it hit me:
People always have the money for what they value. The question is whether they value you.

Money is energy.
