The Great American Recovery Initiative was announced at the federal level yesterday, a new coordinated effort aimed at addressing the addiction crisis and supporting recovery across the country. The plan highlights the importance of better aligning treatment, prevention, and long-term recovery support so people and families can access the help they need.

No one should have to navigate the mental health and addiction landscape alone. 💛

Today was an exciting day for recovery in Southern Nevada.

We were honored to celebrate the ribbon cutting for the new Las Vegas Recovery Hospital, now open on the St. Rose de Lima campus at 102 E Lake Mead Parkway in Henderson. This brand-new facility was thoughtfully designed to provide hospital-level care in a supportive, healing environment.

Moments like this represent important progress: expanded access, strengthened community partnerships, and more pathways to care for individuals and families seeking recovery support.

We’re proud to stand alongside the people and organizations helping make recovery possible in Las Vegas and Henderson. Today’s celebration marks a meaningful step forward.
