Day 1 Costa Rica. 1/31/2021
I put all my receipts in boxes and made my office neat. I put out the garbage and made my bed. I’m ready for my trip. I feel anxious about going but once I find my way there I will relax.
The first leg is to Dallas. I was asleep before we left the tarmac. OMG! The guy next to me has gas and this mask is not helping. I can’t complain I know I’ve done it. ...but....Geez
Well, Jen says it will be a long way to the gate when I make the connecting flight so I’ll ask. Great luck it’s just next door and there’s a place to eat fish tacos. 🌮Awesome. I hope it doesn’t give me gas!
The seats are like lounge chairs with leg rests and I’m just in time to see the sunset. Nice. I feel good. Next flight has only a few people. I asked for an extra snack pack... water and pretzels in a ziploc, what happened to hot meals and real plates. 🍲The seats have a handy holder for the phone at eye level and a USB port. I’ll watch a couple of movies and take a nap. I hope I find the driver Gilberth as easily as the gate. Gilberth was here with a sign with my name... so nice. He and his wife were good company for the hour and a half ride to Jen’s place. It’s dark but I can see the light’s reflection on the ocean. Passing Heddura and then Jaco. The house is super nice and a great guest room. Time to sleep

Woke up at 8:30 and said hello to my little buddy, Jen’s dog Indy, I call him kickstand because of the way he puts his leg out to prop himself when he sits. All those kisses what a greeting ❣️Welcome to Costa Rica ..
