Our team had an amazing time connecting with students and families all October! 🎉 From the 18th Annual Step Up for Kids to the School of Public Health Job and Internship Fair, we enjoyed sharing resources, answering questions, and even testing items for lead.

Thanks for connecting with us last month – we hope to catch you at the next event! 👋💙

Our team recently traveled to Washington, D.C to present at the Annual American Public Health Association Meeting and Expo! ✈️ At the conference, we shared our work on childhood lead poisoning, global lead exposure risks, and what drives vaccine confidence among Nevada’s youth.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to learn, collaborate, and bring home new ideas to support a lead-free future for Nevada’s children! 💙

💙 Nevada’s kids deserve the best future, and supporting mental health is a great way to start!

On November 4th, The Lincy Institute at UNLV, and the UNLV Department of Psychology teamed up for “Advancing Children’s Mental Health in Nevada.”

It was an inspiring event filled with big ideas, local voices, and real talk about how we can better support youth mental health across our state. We are proud that our very own Senior Research Associate, Mayra Pacheco, was a panelist at this event. ✨
