Technically, you can have as many children as you’d like before or even after a mommy makeover. Procedures such as a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) do not prevent future pregnancies. We’ve had patients who underwent surgery and later had healthy pregnancies without issue.

However, if you already know you plan to have more children, it is generally best to complete your family first 👶🏻✨.

Pregnancy stretches the abdominal muscles and skin, and while the body is remarkable in its ability to recover, additional pregnancies after surgery can affect your results and may require revision.
