A very happy FPS-iversary to our Director of Clinical Operations, Mel! 🥳
It’s hard to believe Mel has only been with FPS for one year as we truly can’t imagine our team without her. With more than 25 years of hands-on experience in leadership, operations, and regulatory compliance, Mel plays a critical role in working alongside our government agency partners to ensure offices stay staffed while meeting the highest standards of policy and accountability.
Dubbed the “Queen of the West Coast,” Mel oversees more than 20 contracts and spends more time in airports and on-site with clients and contractors than she does at home. Her commitment to showing up, wherever she’s needed, doesn’t go unnoticed.
But what really makes Mel Mel is how she shows up for her team. She’s the kind of leader who will go to bat for you, push you to step up, and remind you what you’re capable of, even when you’re not so sure yourself. She empowers her team by trusting them, backing them, and giving them the confidence to take ownership of their roles.
And if you’ve ever worked with Mel, you know she’s going to keep things real. She brings humor, quick one-liners, and just the right amount of playful banter that keeps everyone laughing and connected, even on the busiest days.
