Good morning! As most of our patients know, Dr. Velazquez has begun his transition into retirement. Dr. Velazquez took into consideration his options and ultimately wanted to keep his office privately owned. That being said, he has passed the baton to Dr. Nathan Chu who was born and raised in Houston, Tx and completed his professional degree out in Phoenix, AZ. With all the invested hours of experience under his belt, Dr. Chu offers comprehensive dentistry that also include but are not limited to cosmetics, implant placement, and more. The goal is to keep as much under one roof for the convenience of our patients! What happens during a new or routine teeth cleaning appointment at Dr. Velazquez's office? 🤔

During this cleaning appointment, our hygienists remove plaque, tartar and stains that have accumulated on the teeth. We perform our teeth cleanings with electric ultrasonic instruments or manual scaling tools.

X-rays and exams also take place during this appointment.
