The in-person Medical Screening takes place after you find your match with your Intended Parents and their IVF clinic has approved your medical records.

Your health matters! Medical screening is a vital step to ensure not only the safety of a future pregnancy but your own well-being. Surrogacy is all about maintaining the lowest risk possible for both the carrying person and the baby.

Typical tests performed include:

Comprehensive Bloodwork: Detailed labs for the surrogate (and their partner) to ensure a healthy starting point
Saline Ultrasound: A specialized scan to ensure the uterus has no abnormalities that could hinder a successful embryo transfer.
Physician Consultations: Dedicated time to meet the specialist, review the protocol, and get every clinical question answered.
