There are several advantages to having certain procedures done in our office operating room. One major benefit is cost — outpatient surgery centers can be expensive, and when it’s safe to do so in the office without compromising results, we love helping patients save money.
While Dr. Rockmore does not perform general anesthesia cases in the office, many procedures can safely and comfortably be done here. Being in a familiar office environment is far less intimidating for patients, and the combination of cost and comfort makes it a more viable option for some.
