The holidays can be difficult when you’re grieving. Easter, with it's traditions and celebrations, can bring up a mix of emotions, and it's all normal. You are normal if you feel this way!
Here are some ways to care for yourself during this time:
• Acknowledge your emotions – allow yourself to feel whatever comes up without judgment.
• Honor your loved one – light a candle, share a story, or include a favorite tradition of your loved one.
• Be gentle with yourself – rest when needed, set boundaries, and take the day at your own pace.
• Lean on support – talk with friends, family, or a grief support group; connecting with others can bring comfort.
• Adjust roles and responsibilities – traditions may look different now, and that’s okay; share tasks and don’t feel pressured to “fill someone’s shoes.”
Grief doesn’t follow a timeline, and there’s no right or wrong way to navigate it. Please remember you're not alone on your journey.
