Foot Print To Success Clubhouse Our journey began with the education of our mental health providers and community about the Clubhouse https://www.paypal.com/US/fundraiser/charity/118183

Our goal was to create a Clubhouse where youth and adults with mental illness can go and be in a supportive environment that provided life skills and social skills necessary to live and thrive in the community. We also wanted the Clubhouse to focus on the person's strengths and abilities while challenging that individual to pursue his/her chosen life goals. Giving Tuesday started twelve years ago, and has since become a worldwide day to celebrate giving to those in need. Our vegetable garden is up and running! 🥕🫑Thank you so much to all the members who assisted to the Urban Oasis Project for coming out and not only helping us with the planting of our vegetable garden, but for supplying us with the materials and knowledge. As a clubhouse, we do depend on organizations and wonderful folks like these to get these sorts of projects done, and the impact it makes is almost immeasurable. 👣

Veterans Day is a holiday we hold dear here at Foot Print to Success Clubhouse.

When it comes to discussing mental health, veterans have been long overlooked. Aewarenedsd of the unique mental-health and wellness issues faced by veterans has increased in recent years, but we believe there is still a long way to go.
If there is any group who least deserves to be left isolated with serious mental health problems in our society, it must be veterans.
Thank you for your service! Now, it is our turn as a society to be of service to them.😊❤️

Last night we had our first Parent's Night in our new location, and it was a blast!🥳😄 We hosted the families of our members for a tour and a fantastic meal prepared by our members in the Culinary Unit! Javary, one of our members, created an important presentation about the impact that the SNAP shutdown is having on Clubhouse members, and Herbert, also a member, serenaded us with a fantastic rendition of The Temptations "It's Growing"!🤩

Thank you to all of the parents and relatives of our members who were able to attend!
This kind of community building is so valuable when it comes to making real change for adults struggling with mental illness. Your advocacy, online, in-person or otherwise to employers, legislators, or just to your community about our Clubhouse is vital, and can truly make a world of difference.
