In pediatric evaluation, the heel-to-buttock test is a simple yet powerful tool:
✔️ Flex the infant’s heels toward the buttocks. Both heels should touch equally.
✔️ If there is a restriction, check the nuchal ligament at the occipital notch.
✔️ Swelling or tenderness on one side often indicates an anterior sacrum on that side.

This assessment helps identify sacral imbalance early, guiding specific corrections that support proper spinal and cranial development.
