Teri Ann is Owner & Instructor for Comfy Pets of AZ, offering Equine & Pet Health & First Aid Training Clinics. Her Equine Training Clinics are held in Laveen, AZ at Rider's Ranch from September thru May. She Also travels throughout AZ, Southern CA and NM offering her training clinics with Horse Professionals and Private Horse Owners that wish to Host a clinic and receive a FREE Registration, First Aid Manual & 3-Year Training Certification. If you own a horse its not IF -- but WHEN you will face an emergency. We offer six different training clinics for the horse owner or professional:

* Fundamentals of Equine First Aid 4-Hour Clinic

* Equine Health & Emergency First Aid 8-Hr Clinic

* Equine Advanced First Aid & Wilderness 8-Hr Clinic

* I Can Help-Horse First Aid for Kids (5-10) 4-Hour Clinic

* Safety First - The Barn & Beyond (geared for a beginner horse person) 4-Hour Clinic

* Yay or Nay Disaster Planning for Kids 4-Hour Clinic

Our training clinics are part lecture, but hours of hands-on training with the horses at the facility. Each student will receive an Equine First Aid Manual and a 3-Year Certificate of Completion. Teri Ann is a Certified Equine Instructor with Equi-Health Canada / Equi-First Aid USA

DID YOU KNOW? Equi-Health Canada / Equi-First Aid USA instructors undergo intensive training, testing, and must adhere to a high standard, keeping up with ongoing updates and delivery methods as they are presented by the veterinarian on the Advisory Board. Their education continues as they remain with the organization. They are under an instructor agreement with Equi-Health Canada and must retain their current and valid certification through continuing education, a minimum number of teaching engagements per year, a strict code of ethics they must adhere to and they must hold current liability insurance.

Learn the foundations every horse owner should know—from nutrition and hydration to hoof care, wellness checks, and daily management. This session focuses on keeping your horse healthy, comfortable, and thriving.

🩺 All About the Basics & Advanced First Aid and Safety Techniques for Your Horse
Be prepared when seconds matter. This class covers essential first aid skills, injury recognition, emergency response, and advanced techniques to help stabilize your horse until veterinary care is available—all with a strong focus on safety.

🌵 All About Disasters in AZ
Arizona presents unique challenges for horse owners. This session focuses on disaster preparedness and response for events such as wildfires, extreme heat, floods, and other regional emergencies—helping you create a plan to protect your horses before, during, and after a disaster.

✨ Because being prepared isn’t optional—it’s responsible horse ownership.
