Parkview Pointe-Senior Living "Close to Family and Friends" Parkview Pointe Senior Living’s mission is resident focused. All seniors want continued independence.

We strive to provide a living environment for seniors 55 and over that honors their wants, needs and choices. We offer an entry level Base Rate to our most independent residents who want to be free from the burden of daily chores and home maintenance, while enjoying a secure environment that offers mental stimulation, social interaction, physical activities and medication management. Residents are free to come and go and may have their own vehicle. Licensed and certified staff are available 24 hours a day to offer a helping hand, but only when and if you need it. A Personal Care Plan is determined by you, your family and the Resident Assessment administered by our licensed staff. This approach, along with monthly health monitoring, allows us to meet resident’s needs today and adjust as needed for care in the future. A Respite or Short Stay program is also available. Perhaps you have been released from the hospital and aren’t quite ready to go home, we can offer a furnished suite until you are stronger. Can’t decide if a permanent move is right for you? Consider a Short Stay to experience what life at Parkview Pointe Senior Living is all about. Our approach to senior living allows for assistance when required, and freedom when desired. Moving into long-term care earlier can have benefits that families do not always consider.

When someone transitions sooner, they may receive professional support earlier in the disease process, have more consistent medical monitoring, reduced fall risk, increased socialization, and more opportunity to build relationships with staff and residents while their cognitive and communication skills are stronger. It can also reduce caregiver burnout by sharing responsibility with a trained team.

This is not about pushing placement. It is about understanding the full picture so you can make informed decisions.

Stay tuned. In a couple of days, I will share the potential benefits of waiting before moving into long-term care so you can weigh both sides thoughtfully.
