Cub Scout Pack 3370 went on an Out of This World Overnighter at the Cosmosphere this weekend!
Our jam-packed adventure included building space bases and robotic sample return systems, explosive rocket science, Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream, being spun around in a contraption that may induce motion sickness just to watch, reliving the Apollo 11 Moon Landing in the Carey Digital Dome Theater, seeing Jupiter through a telescope they built, seeing the real Apollo 13 Odyssey Command Module, exploring Worlds Beyond Earth that recent probes have explored, prepared for the upcoming Artemis II Mission, and SO MUCH MORE!

Cub Scout Packs across the District have been holding their annual Pinewood Derbies. Cubs who place in the top 6 for their Pack this year, are invited to participate in the District Pinewood Derby on Saturday, February 28th from 11am-1pm @ Kaw Prairie Community Church in Lenexa.

Cub Scout and Scouts BSA Breakout sessions

ALL Parents and Leaders are welcome and encouraged to attend. Come meet new scouters, share ideas and collaborate on upcoming events. Attendees are asked to please bring canned soda/drink donations for the OA Banquet Saturday.

Cub Scout Pack 3370's final pack meeting of 2025 was hosted by the Dole Institute of Politics. Our dens worked on earning their respective Citizenship adventures. We learned all about voting, volunteering, public service, and so much more!
Big thanks to Julie, Travis, and Jackson of the Dole Institute for an awesome evening!

Mark your Calendar for the Annual Camp Bromelsick Christmas Party:

Every December, the local Girl Scouts, 4-H Members, and Boy Scouts gather for a Christmas Party as directed by the Bromelsick Will. Each year, one of these groups takes the lead in organizing the event, with a single goal: bringing youth together for a joyful holiday celebration.

This year are celebration returns to ROYAL CREST LANES. Scouts can attend with their unit or with a parent. This year we are collecting Stocking Hats, Gloves, Scarves and Socks for the Lawrence Community Shelter.

🎄 The 2025 Christmas Party will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Royal Crest Lanes, 933 Iowa Street, Lawrence, Kansas.

What did you do on Thanksgiving? Scouting alum Mike Fincke had a pretty unforgettable one. While many of us were settling in for turkey and pie, Mike hit a huge milestone. This Thanksgiving, he reached 500 days in space across four missions since 2004. He has done everything from commanding the station to piloting Crew 11, and his work continues to push human spaceflight forward in amazing ways.

Before all that, Mike was a Webelos Scout. Later, he became a Scout leader with his son and served on Scout committees with his daughters. His son and oldest daughter are Eagle Scouts, and his youngest is well on her path.

Not a bad way to spend the holiday.
