Please join us in thanking Cindy Mast, Caressa Kuy, Payton Jaimes, Megan Hottman, and Maureen (Mo) Caro for all they do to keep our kids healthy and growing strong! 🧡🐼

We have these very official medals for the Kansas Kids Fun Run to give out on Sunday! And what Halloween event would be complete without candy?!

On Nov. 2, Kids can wear their costumes and trick or treat after the run! Thank you to Mars, Incorporated and Squishingtons for donating all the best candy for our young runners!

See you at the fun run at Kansas Half Marathon/5k at 9 a.m., at the South Park Playground.

"WIC clients, please continue to redeem your WIC benefits as normal. Due to the federal shutdown, the state WIC agency is pausing direct ship formulas, which affects very few families in Douglas County. We have been in contact with the families affected.

If you have not heard from Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health, please continue to redeem your WIC benefits as normal. If you have questions or concerns, please contact the WIC office at wic@ldchealth.org or call/text 785-856-5350."

If you have additional questions about WIC or Food Benefits, please feel free to contact our community health workers at (785) 842-4477.
