If you watched (or were lucky enough to go to) last week's Kansas Men's Basketball game against Arizona, you may have seen some familiar faces take the floor during a timeout.

Head coach Bill Self wanted to show his gratitude for the amazing cardiac care he received at LMH Health and The University of Kansas Health System and selected members of his care team from both hospitals to be recognized on the court.

LMH staff recognized included Scott Rowland, Amanda Mitchell, Liz Louden, Megan West-Potter, Dr. Chris Larson, Gail Nelson, Marianne Trent, Lisi Zhou, Jordan Kircher, Becca Scott and Taylor Cawley.

Thank you for everything you do to keep our hearts strong and our communities healthy. Rock Chalk!

Today is Random Acts of Kindness Day 💙

Sometimes it’s the big stuff.
More often, it’s smaller (which is kind of the point). It looks like:
• Cheering loudly for your friends
• Giving up that last cream cheese donut from Muncher’s Bakery (if you’ve had one, you know that’s something)
• Helping without being asked
• Saying “are you okay?” instead of “you’ll be fine”

💙 So today, look out for the small kindnesses — they’re where the magic happens.

For many people, talking about urologic concerns can be difficult or embarrassing. The team at LMH Health Lawrence Urology Specialists gets that.

“It takes a fair amount of courage to come into the urology office. We deal with some of the most personal and intimate problems that people have,” said Dr. Jon H**b. “But you need to know that these are common problems, and they’re nothing to be ashamed of.”

Learn how our team evaluates and treats urologic concerns in patients across their entire lifespan, from birth through every stage of life at https://bit.ly/4qy5Zvh.
