"With everything going on." It's a phrase I hear almost every session these days. As a massage therapist, I see the signs of the times weighing heavily on the people I see. As a daughter, sister, mother, and woman, it weighs heavily on me as well. Life comes with its own challenges and witnessing the atrocities happening live, adds so much more weight. With everything going on, and all you're doing to help, I hope you can take some time to reset during tomorrow's protest. In Lawrence, there are places to gather, with many places shutting down for the protest, but there are some locally owned businesses that will remain open. I'll be working with my clients to help bring down the collective tension, and in solidarity with the protest, I'm only accepting cash.
