Mary Immaculate Health/Care Services is one of New England’s largest and most advanced complexes for the care of the elderly.

Our campus provides a full continuum of care designed to support well and sick older adults so they can age with dignity. MIHCS is comprised of a family of companies including:

-MI Nursing / Restorative Center, a 231- bed skilled nursing facility caring for frail or recuperating elders.

•Remarkable Recoveries is a dedicated short term rehabilitation unit devoted to the needs of patients requiring therapies and care as they recover from illness, accident or surgery

•A dedicated dementia unit serves the needs of families and patients challenged by Alzheimer’s disease and related memory loss disorders

-MI Residential Community is an award-winning retirement community comprised of one and two bedroom apartments known for its friendliness, comfort and security

•Marguerite’s House Assisted Living Residence allows residents to maintain their independence in a modern, beautiful and affordable apartment with the peace of mind that support services are available if needed.

-MI Transportation arranges daily chair car transport services for residents for social outings as well as for shopping and medical needs. MI Transportation also provides a valuable service for families whose loved ones are participants in one of the three adult day health programs.

Here comes Peter Cottontail! Residents on Memory Care and 4B were treated to a visit from the Easter Bunny. He brought bags of goodies for all the residents and staff. Happy Easter to all our residents, families, and staff!

Baby Goat invasion! Residents and staff enjoyed a visit from 2 baby goats from Valley View Farm in Topsfield. The morning was filled with smiles, cuddles, and laughter!

A huge thank you to Lawrence Fire Lieutenant Jamiel Ortiz and Firefighter Juan "Manny" Gonzalez for leading our twice-yearly Emergency Preparedness event on March 18!

Nearly 60 of our independent living residents gathered for an engaging and informative session covering:

Fire prevention tips you can use right at home
Evacuation and building safety procedures
What to do during a personal health emergency.

Our residents showed up ready to learn — and it showed! We're grateful to the Lawrence Fire Department for their continued commitment to keeping our community safe.

Happy St.Patrick’s Day! Residents danced a jig with entertainer Mark Stanzler. All wore their green clothing/hats/masks/tiaras. We finished by feasting on Baileys Irish Cream Fudge, Irish cookies, cupcakes, and green M&M cookies! ☘️

Staff enjoyed dressing in green and tasting some refreshing Shamrock Shakes!!

Will you be my Valentine? The residents on memory care are feeling the love. Students from Aaron’s Presents and Oracle gave each resident a bag filled with lovely items- robes, blankets, toiletries, hats, games, and goodies! Happy 158th Birthday to Mary Immaculate!! Yesterday, February 9th, we celebrated Founder’s Day-the arrival of the five Grey Nuns from Montreal and dedication of the Protectory in 1868. May their Mission of love and compassion live on!💙💙💙💙

Here we go Patriots! Residents on memory care had a huge Patriots Pep Rally with entertainer Glenn Peterson! Residents designed their own hats and also guessed who will win the big game for prizes!!!

We also chowed down on sliders, nachos and salsa, and sweet treats!!!
