Our first panelist spotlight is Sonia Jordan, the Health Equity Manager at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas. She brings more than 18 years of experience in public health, including data and informatics, health equity, infectious disease, and emergency preparedness.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, she served as Operations Director for Douglas County Unified Command, where she led mass vaccination operations. Her work has been recognized by the deBeaumont Foundation’s 40 Under 40 in Public Health Award and as the 2021 Douglas County Preparedness Partner of the Year Award. A lifelong Kansan, she lives in Lawrence and spends her spare time as a dedicated soccer mom to three.
We’re thrilled Sonia will offer her insight and expertise and hope to see you there.
