Today, Valley of Hope Shelter and Recovery had the honor of attending a wonderful celebration in support of our friends at Altamar, graciously hosted by The LeadHumano Collective and Pajazetovic and Company 💜

Events like this remind us how powerful it is when organizations come together to uplift and support one another. We were proud to be there showing our support for our nonprofit partners and celebrating the incredible impact that strong, compassionate women and community leaders make every day. 🤝🌍

At Valley of Hope Shelter and Recovery, we know that meaningful change happens through collaboration—because none of us can do this work alone. Together, we build stronger communities, offer hope, and create pathways to healing and recovery. 💫

Today, Valley of Hope Shelter and Recovery stands in remembrance and love for the lives lost to overdose. Black Balloon Day is a time to honor the beautiful souls we carry in our hearts and to support the families and communities forever changed by addiction.

Each black balloon represents someone who mattered… someone who was loved… someone who is deeply missed. 🕊️

At Valley of Hope, we believe recovery is possible, hope is real, and no one should have to walk this journey alone. Today we remember those we’ve lost, we stand with those still struggling, and we celebrate every person fighting for recovery. 💜

If you are hurting, if you are battling addiction, or if you’ve lost someone—you are not alone. Our community stands with you.

There is nothing more rewarding than seeing the joy of a life transformed. 💙

This morning at Valley of Hope Shelter and Recovery, I was greeted with the biggest smile from our Pegasus House resident, Emily. She could hardly wait to share her news — she is graduating this month from our residential recovery program at Pegasus House!

Emily was absolutely beaming with pride and excitement as she talked about reaching this milestone. Her hard work, dedication, and commitment to her recovery journey have truly paid off. Watching her grow in confidence and strength has been such a blessing to witness.

Emily, we are so incredibly proud of you! 🌟 Keep shining, keep striving, and keep taking those brave steps forward. The next chapter of your journey is waiting, and we can’t wait to see all that you accomplish.

We want to send a huge THANK YOU to our incredible partners at Village Food Hub for stepping up in such a big way this week during the snowstorms ❄️💙

Because of your generosity, Valley of Hope Shelter and Recovery was able to keep all of our programs stocked with emergency snack packs and fresh bread when it mattered most. When the weather made everything more difficult, you helped make sure our guests and participants still had access to nourishing food and a little extra comfort.

Your support helps us continue serving our community without interruption — even in the toughest conditions. We are so grateful for your partnership and your heart for those we serve.
