We'd like to give a BIG thank you to the Hays Lions Club for their continued support of Audio-Reader! With this year's grant, we will be able to purchase and provide more Amazon Alexa devices for listeners in and around the Hays region - furthering our mission of expanding access to information, news and entertainment for people who are blind or visually impaired. We are so grateful to the Hays Lions Club for their belief in our mission so we can continue to reach even more people across the state! 🦁

We had the opportunity to be interviewed for a class project! We were happy to have Sophia from University of Kansas Delta Gamma - Beta Kappa Chapter visit Audio-Reader and showcase our organization for one of her KU Business classes!

It’s always exciting to share our story - how we connect people who are blind, visually impaired, or print disabled with the information they need to stay informed and engaged. And it makes it even more meaningful when it’s with students who are passionate about learning and making a difference.

Our partnership with Delta Gamma is especially special to us, as we share a a mission of sight. Moments like this remind us that spreading awareness is key because the more people who know about Audio-Reader, the more lives we can reach.

Thank you, Sophia, for your curiosity, thoughtful questions, and for helping us amplify our mission!

Big thanks to the Lions Club of Leavenworth for their incredible support of Audio-Reader!

We’re especially grateful to Leavenworth Lions Roger and Joe, who gathered audio equipment and vinyl record donations throughout their community and personally delivered them to us. It was such a pleasure getting to chat with them and hear about all the good they continue to do in Leavenworth.

This month, Nhan even brought along a visiting family member to join in—something we always love to see. It’s so meaningful when new people get to learn about our services and become part of our mission of sharing the gift of sight through sound.
