It’s Employee/Resident of the Month time!!! This month’s winners are Katie & Ron!
Katie has been a CNA at PK for a little over a year and some of her hobbies are decorating, making diamond puzzles, spending time with her family and friends and buying clothes for her puppy. Her favorite thing about working at PK is interacting with the residents and the relationships she has built with them individually and of course, being able to work with her mom.
Katie has also became quite the nail tech here at PK, once a week she does the residents nails, not only does she paint them, but she has mastered the technique of doing personal designs on them! The residents lineup to get their nails done!
Ron has been a resident here at PK for 4 years! Some of his favorite things to do are feeding the birds outside, and listening to old school rock. Ron is always there to lend a hand to his fellow resident or to the PK staff, he loves to help by taking out the trash or just opening the door for you. He says his favorite thing about PK are the residents and staff they make the days go faster.
Way to go Ron & Katie!!

Thank you to the Kindergarten students & teachers from Bright Elementary School  for visiting us yesterday and performing their Christmas Program! They were such a delight and all of our residents enjoyed them so much!

“Family and Friends are the true treasures of Thanksgiving”. 
Thank you to everyone who attended our Family and Friends Thanksgiving dinner last night at PK, it was truly a special night for our residents.
Thank you to our staff, who helped put this event together.. by volunteering their time, decorating, helping clean up. And a special thank you to our wonderful dietary staff who worked tirelessly to create such a special meal for everyone. This event could not happen without everyone coming together, we truly have a one-of-a-kind Pine Knoll family 🤗.

DRUMROLL PLEASE 🥁🥁🥁
 Introducing our Resident of the month and our Employee of the month for November!
 Floyd has been our maintenance supervisor for 14 years! Some of his hobbies are reading, gardening, and collecting coins. Floyd keeps a beautiful garden at PK that the residents love to help him water, you should stop by and see his 8 foot tall sunflowers in the summertime!
Floyd‘s favorite thing about Pine Knoll is working with the residents and his co-workers. He says it really has a family like atmosphere. 
Our resident of the month is Betty, she will be 102 next April!  You wouldn’t know it though, she is just as spunky as ever! Betty loves to sit in the sitting room, and chat with her fellow residents. She loves it when children come to visit. And her favorite food is a good hotdog or a grilled cheese sandwich! 
Let’s hear it for Betty and Floyd 🎉🎉
