With the government currently shut down and SNAP benefits on hold or limited availability, NOW is the time to help our neighbors! Our "Neighbor to Neighbor" food box located behind the Health Department is available for use by anyone in need. NO QUESTIONS ASKED! Please help us to keep it stocked! We are in need of non-perishable food items at this time! Our staff will be located in front of Walmart this afternoon from 2 to 6 pm collecting donations. PLEASE CONSIDER HELPING IF POSSIBLE! WIC Farmers Market Participants: This Saturday, October 25th, is the last day you will be able to use your Farmers Market benefits. They can be redeemed at the Central Bank Park from 8:30 am until 12 noon.

This Saturday is our last market of the season and we’re ending with a fun Kids’ Day event! We will have trick or treating at each of our vendor booths, will have our fall photo booth setup with straw-bales and pumpkins, and will give each youth $2 in Farm Cash to spend with any vendor ($3 for kids who show up in costume).

We will also be issuing $10 in Kentucky Double Dollars to all of our Senior and WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program customers, even those who have already reached this year’s maximum. The market is open 8:30am-12pm at Century Bank Park in downtown Lawrenceburg at 44 Anna Mac Clarke Ave.
