Shady Nook Care Center Shady Nook Care Center is a 84 bed facility. We offer short term rehab and long term care services.

We offer a skilled nursing unit that specializes in dementia care. Shady Nook Nursing & Rehabilitation is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located just 3 minutes from St. Elizabeth Dearborn Hospital and close to other area hospitals in Cincinnati. Our post-acute care unit offers short-term rehabilitation with a range of therapies in a warm, friendly, and secure environment. A small facility with dedicated and caring staff, we offer short term rehab-to-home, long-term care and a specialized dementia unit. We enable residents to retain their independence and dignity in an inviting and cozy atmosphere.

Lately at Shady Nook… 💙

There’s been a lot of laughter in the halls, sweet moments shared between residents and staff, and little things that make each day special. From fun activities and visits from our amazing community to simple conversations that brighten someone’s day, it’s been a reminder of how special this place truly is.

We are so thankful for the residents who call Shady Nook home, the families who trust us with their loved ones, and the staff who show up every day with compassion and heart.

It’s the small moments that mean the most. 💙

Today at Shady Nook, we turned up the fun with Shirley Temples and a super talented caricature artist, Joni in the house! 🍹💄🖌️

Residents and staff were sipping on sweet, cherry-topped Shirley Temples while getting their personalities sketched into keepsake masterpieces! The laughter was loud, the drinks were bubbly, and the smiles were BIG! 😄

A huge thank you to Personally Yours Gift & Floral Shop for their incredibly thoughtful donation of beautiful flowers for each and every one of our residents at Shady Nook. Seeing the smiles light up their faces as they received their own personal arrangement was truly priceless.

Your kindness didn’t just brighten rooms — it brightened spirits. The simple act of fresh flowers made our residents feel seen, valued, and deeply loved.
