Daniel M. Markowski, of Newtown, Pennsylvania and formerly Lawrenceville, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 26th, 2025.

Born in Trenton and raised in Lawrenceville, Dan was a graduate of Notre Dame High School. He continued his education at Belmont Abbey College, earning a degree in Political Science. While at Belmont Abbey, Dan discovered what would become one of the great passions of his life—golf—after joining the Golf Club.

Following college, Dan served as an intelligence agent in the Air National Guard. He continued to work alongside his father at the family business, Alma Offset Printing Company, where he led sales and marketing and ultimately retired as president after 50 years.

Dan was a man of many talents and interests. An avid sports enthusiast, he also had a deep appreciation for music and played the guitar, banjo, and harmonica. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting trips with his father, uncle, and other family members. His love of the outdoors took him on fly-fishing adventures from the Bahamas to the distant waters of Christmas Island. At home, he found peace fishing and crabbing on his boat in Barnegat Bay.

For over 45 years, his beach house on Long Beach Island became a beloved gathering place he shared with family and friends. Countless memories have been created there, each one a testament to Dan’s generosity and legacy.

Golf remained a steadfast passion throughout Dan's life. He traveled widely to play prestigious courses in South Carolina, Arizona, Mexico, Bermuda, and the world-renowned Pebble Beach. He was a member of Trenton Country Club before becoming one of the original members of Old York Country Club, his “second home.” There he won numerous tournaments, including Club Champion. Dan often said, “Golf is the barometer of life,” believing that when your golf game was good, life tended to follow.

Dan was predeceased by his father, M. Michael; his mother, Theresa (née Swartz); and his brother, James. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Bosco; his cherished stepson, Corey Liebowitz; his sister, Maryan Hargraves (Larry); his brothers, Richard (Eileen) and Michael (Karen); his nieces and nephew Jaclyn Rossi (Michael and their children), Jamie Hargraves, and Brandon Hargraves, as well as many cousins, golfing buddies and good friends.

A Celebration of Dan's Life will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 11:00AM-12:00PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. A prayer service will begin at 11:45AM.

Norman Warren Fesmire, Jr. passed away quietly and peacefully at the age of 83 on January 29, 2026 in the Hospice Unit of RWJ Hospital following a long and brave battle with Parkinson’s Disease.

He was born on September 12, 1942 in Abington, PA. Norm graduated from Abington High School in 1960 and Franklin and Marshall College in 1964 and became a Member of the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity, Upsilon Chapter. After his college graduation, he and his younger brother, Mark, spent the summer touring the states as far as California.

He attended the United States Naval Officer Candidate School in Newport, Rhode Island, graduating in March, 1965, an Ensign, trained at Pensacola, Florida, and Glynco, Georgia, where he received his Commission of Lieutenant. He was certified in AEW/ECM training (Airborne Early Warning radar and Electronic Countermeasures). Norm was sent to Southeast Asia in March of 1966 and completed 20 flights on combat missions in an active combat area and was awarded two Air Medals for combat missions flown in Vietnam. He became a Navigation Aviation Instructor involving weather reconnaissance (hurricane hunters) in Pensacola where he met his future wife, Georgia Holzworth. On March 22,1969 he and Georgia were married at NAS (Naval Air Station) Chapel. NAS Pensacola is best known for the precision-flying team known as the Blue Angels. Following Norm’s military discharge, they moved to New Jersey to begin raising their family. They have three sons, Douglass, Michael, and Peter. Norm was incredibly proud of his children and the warm-hearted, caring adults they have become. They have two grandchildren, Lucas and Mae, whom he cherished.

Norm was a member of the New Jersey Chapter of the Sons of the Revolution. His relative, Jacob Castor, fought in the Revolution in 1776 for American Independence. Thus began Norm’s love of history; he became an avid reader of that time period.

Norm had a satisfying and successful career as Project Manager working for the Budd Company manufacturing high-speed railcars for Amtrack in Philadelphia, PA. When the plant closed its doors, he was recruited by ABB (Asea Brown Boveri) and spent several years commuting to Elmira, NY. He was also employed by Sumitomo Corp. based in Washington D.C. Norm began his own business, NWF Transportation Consulting, Inc. which afforded him vast travelling experiences. He and Georgia travelled to many countries such as France, Sweden, Prague, Australia, and Italy over his lengthy working career. His weekends were highlighted with coaching soccer games on the fields in Pennington. His world revolved around these games which he loved. He very often stood by the fence during game time to get as close to the action as possible when not coaching.

Norm found time to pursue his favorite hobby, painting in oils. He was a member of Artist’s Choice painting group of Pennington, and looked forward each week to joining his fellow artists, even when his Parkinson’s was presenting difficulty. He was always buoyed by the group’s support and camaraderie. His paintings earned numerous awards including First Place in Oils in 2018 from the New Jersey State Senior Citizens Art Show held annually in East Windsor, NJ.

Norm and Georgia enjoyed retirement, spending time with and talking about their kids and grandchildren; gathering bets with them on the Super Bowl and; sitting on the patio in the summer with their friends and neighbors; going to local Estate sales; and watching British Midsomer Murder mystery movies, alongside their cat, Charlie, whom Norm was especially bonded.

Norm leaves behind his beloved wife of 57 years, Georgia, and three sons, Douglass, Michael, Peter, and grandchildren, Lucas and Mae. Also, a devoted and caring daughter-in-law, Leigh; Brother-in law, Jerry Holzworth and wife, Suzie; and many cousins. Norm will be dearly missed and always remembered for his integrity and enduring love for his family.

Ann loved to travel with her husband and daughter throughout the year. Ann was always dressed to the “nines” and always had to have a matching scarf that matched her outfit. Her favorite things to do were shopping with her daughter, fancy restaurants, playing family card games, listening to polkas, dancing and enjoying a cup of tea that had to be served from a beautiful tea pot. One of her greatest thrills was to be able to meet Jimmy Sturr at the St. Hedwig’s Parish Anniversary affair. Ann spent many hours, days, months and years transporting Erika to her dance lessons, and enjoyed waiting around and talking with the other moms until they were over. Her greatest pleasure from all this time spent for lessons was watching Erika’s recitals and performances while she was learning to dance and now watching the performances and recitals of the students that Erika has been teaching Ann was even involved with this in that Erika always needed help with choosing the music for the pieces as well as helping to add a special sparkle to the costumes for the performers in only the way Ann could.

Louise Ora Logan, resident of Ewing Township, New Jersey, passed away at the age of 106 on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the youngest of 32 children.

Louise attended Virginia State University where she aspired to become a Physical Education Teacher. She had a lifelong love for health and wellness. In her later years she became an avid walker, which lead to her attending and often instructing her neighbors in exercise classes at church and community locations. Those close to Louise know that she incessantly ate an apple a day, believing that an apple a day would keep the doctor away. This theory is well proven by her longevity and the absence of medical conditions found in people half her age and younger.

After leaving Virginia, she moved to New York where she had an opportunity to work for Judge Jane Bolin, the first black woman to graduate from Yale Law School and later serve as a judge in the United States. Louise named her first child in her honor. On June 27, 1947, Louise and William (Billy) were married. While traveling with her spouse during his military career, she gave birth to her children in various locations, including Germany, where her youngest child, Donna, was born. She became a Girl Scout Leader there. Their travels led them back to New York, via Fort Hamilton. After her husband’s retirement from the military they settled in Deer Park, Long Island. She often hosted gatherings for family and friends where card games, such as Bid Whist, Spades, Poker and Pokeno were played. In fact, many of her children and grandchildren learned to play these games through her teaching.

Louise took great pride in being a stay-at-home mom to all of her children, whom fondly remember her delicious meals, particularly her fried fish, chicken, and rolls. She enjoyed making pear preserves, applesauce, and homemade ice cream. She took pride in baking birthday cakes, mouth-watering lemon meringue and apple pies without the use of a recipe. And, there is absolutely no way to forget her beloved Cinnamon Buns. At least one family member is still trying to perfect that recipe. Being close to becoming an empty nester, Louise took a job at the Deer Park Motor Inn as the head of housekeeping. Voting was a high priority for Louise, so it is easy to understand why she devoted time to Voter Registration and working the polls. There was a time when she actually had to pay a Poll Tax in order to cast her vote. That experience fast forwarded her to the day where she proudly had the opportunity to vote for the first Black American President, Barack Obama.

She was a devoted christian, taking her faith seriously and praying persistently. Her children believed she had a direct line with God through Jesus Christ. Louise also became active in the Beloved Community Bible Study. In Louise’s presence you could often hear her humming or singing. She became a member of the choir at Ascension Lutheran Church in Deer Park, as well as, the senior choir at Shiloh Baptist Church in Trenton, New Jersey, singing well into her 90s.

Louise decided to sell her house some twenty years ago and move to Lawrenceville, New Jersey to live with her daughter, Jane, where they became travel partners. Where Jane went Louise followed, from vacations to simple shopping trips.

Louise will be remembered as a genuine dog lover, designated driver for many children and neighbors, peanut lover, avid reader (often a book a week), sports fan, enjoying baseball, football, boxing, ice skating and gymnastics. She was also known as the enforcer of “Brutal Force”, which brings up memories for each of her grandchildren. She was often seen laughing and playing with her great-grandchildren and giving them rides on her walker. She shared stories about family and friends while we all laughed until the tears rolled down our faces.

Daughter of the late London and Anna Stewart Pettis, wife of the Late William Lee Logan Sr., mother of the late William Lee Logan Jr. (Janice) and Patrick Noel Logan (Roxanne). Survived by her children, Jane (Logan) Wyche, Anthony Logan (Gwen), Donna (Logan) Payne, her beloved grandchildren, Kathleen, Harvey III (Millie), Tara (David), Douglas Jr., Kristopher (Victoria), Lindsay, Brandon (Ryanne), Patrick Jr., Catrina (Adam), William, Jason, Aaron (Samantha), along with 22 great grandchildren, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends and her guard dog Samson.

The viewing for Louise will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. at Central a Christ Centered Church, 2015 Pennington Road, Ewing, NJ 08618 with Homegoing Services beginning at 11:00 a.m. Repass immediately following the service.

Interment will be held on Monday January 12, 2026 at 12:30 p.m. at Calverton National Cemetery, Long Island, NY.
