Members of our Play Therapy Team recently attended the International Association for Play Therapy (APT) Conference!

The conference brought together play therapy professionals from around the world, and our team enjoyed days full of learning, connection, and inspiration. They returned energized with new ideas and fresh insights to better support the children and families we serve.

In addition, View Point Health Director of Play Therapy and President of the Georgia Association for Play Therapy Gloria Juliao along with team members Mariana Shively and Irene Bautista Lopez gave a presentation on Creative Interventions and Considerations when Working with Latinx Individuals.

We’re grateful for this opportunity and excited to put what we learned into practice!

This season reminds us how powerful gratitude can be for our mental well-being. Even small moments of appreciation—support from a friend, a quiet breath, a step forward—can reduce stress and strengthen resilience.

We are grateful for our clients, our community, and our dedicated team who make healing possible.

Wishing you a warm, peaceful Thanksgiving filled with moments that support your mind and spirit.

Thank you City of Lawrenceville for highlighting Nadia’s journey!

11/14/2025

After reaching out for utility assistance, she was connected to View Point Health and discovered the support she truly needed: counseling. Through weekly sessions, Nadia has learned to pause, breathe, and find her peace. With the help of her therapist, she’s also been able to extend that support to her 12-year-old son, Carter—bringing healing not just for herself, but for her family.
