Your anxiety and depression might not be “all in your head” - they might be in the first bone of your neck.

Here’s what most people don’t know:
Your vagus nerve - the nerve responsible for calming your body, regulating your mood, and helping you feel safe - runs directly past the first bone in your neck (C1).

When C1 is imbalanced, it creates interference in vagus nerve function. And when your vagus nerve isn’t working optimally, your nervous system gets stuck in survival mode.

That’s when you experience:
-Chronic anxiety (fight/flight)
-Depression (freeze/shutdown)
-Feeling “on edge” constantly
-Emotional overwhelm
-Physical tension that won’t go away

The flu is not a season. 🍂

Let’s be real - if you’re catching every cold that goes around, dealing with constant sinus infections, or battling the flu multiple times a year, that’s not just “bad luck” or “how winter works.”

It’s like clockwork, isn’t it? October ends, November begins, and suddenly everyone in your house is sniffling, coughing, or fighting something.

You’ve probably blamed it on “back-to-school germs” or “weather changes” – but the real reason runs much deeper.

Here’s what’s really happening: Your family’s nervous system is being overwhelmed by the perfect storm of Fall stressors. At Let It Be Chiropractic, I believe that everyone should be functioning as optimally as possible and in turn, have an amazing quality of life!

I have always known that I wanted to serve people in some way and when I got called to chiropractic my mission became even greater. It’s not enough for me to alleviate symptoms for someone, I want them to actually start functioning better because that’s where true health is experienced and I believe everyone deserves to be living in a true state of health. The good Lord has blessed me so incredibly by calling me to serve in this amazing profession and I intend to do everything I can to answer His call. I am super excited to get the opportunity to serve the families of Southwest Oklahoma!
