We want to give a big thank you to our Guardant representative Brett for helping us host our first Shield-Colorectal Cancer Screening Blood Draw, Belinda and Denise the two phlebotomists, and to our 30 amazing patients that participated today!

Shield is a simple blood test (FDA Approved) that screens for Colon Cancer. Colon Cancer is the 3rd most common cancer, the 2nd deadliest, and 3 out of 4 people are NOT up to date. Starting at age 45 you should be getting screened.

If you have not been screened, whether that’s with Shield, Cologuard or a colonoscopy, please discuss with Dr du Toit or Jen at your next appointment!
