Forecast for Sunday looks… very Oklahoma.

Expect sustained winds 35–40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph between 7 AM – 7 PM.

This means we may see increased sightings of Oklahoma’s unofficial state birds:
🦅 Flying Trampolines
🦅 Migrating Polycarts

Before they begin their seasonal migration, take a few minutes to:

• Secure trash carts, trampolines, patio furniture, and loose outdoor items
• Be prepared for isolated power outages
• Use caution if driving high-profile vehicles (trucks, trailers, RVs, etc.)

🔥 Red Flag conditions are also expected from Noon – 7 PM

That means:
• Rapid fire spread is possible
• Avoid open flames or sparks
• Keep vehicles off dry grass
• Properly discard ci******es

We're launching the Community Garden at the Health Department - a space dedicated to fresh food access, nutrition, and bringing people together.
