This patient had underlying volume loss beneath the scar, which was pulling the tissue inward and making the indentation more noticeable. We treated the area with Sculptra to help restore support and stimulate collagen, along with microneedling to improve the surface texture and overall blending.

We microneedled it again today. We are already seeing a softer, smoother appearance… and this will continue to improve over the next 6–12 months as collagen rebuilds 🤍

This was all about restoring structure and letting her natural beauty do the talking:

You can always add more later, but many patients end up wishing they had started with a full syringe once they see how natural it can look. 💋

This patient started with ½ syringe, returned for another ½, and later added 1 full syringe as she grew comfortable with the results.

“Filler migration” has become one of the most talked-about topics on social media lately.
Yes, migration can happen. But the internet has made it seem far more common than it actually is.
In many of the viral examples, what people are seeing is often something else:
• swelling
• overfilling
• normal aging changes
• filler sitting exactly where it was originally placed
When filler is placed conservatively, with the correct product, in the proper anatomical plane, it generally stays where it is injected.
Who injects you matters.
Technique matters.
Product choice matters.
And so does proper aftercare.
The goal of aesthetic treatments isn’t to chase trends. It is to create balanced, natural results that age well over time.
If you ever have questions about filler, don’t be afraid to ask your injector. Education is one of the most important parts of safe aesthetic medicine.
