Yesterday, our plans changed when the carolers couldn’t make it on time… but our residents turned a simple mix-up into something unforgettable. One of our sweet residents sat down at the piano, and soon the whole lobby was filled with voices, laughter, and Christmas spirit. ❤️
They remind us every single day that the most beautiful moments aren’t the ones we plan — they’re the ones we create together.

We have a family in need of compassion and care this Christmas. A mother and her 7-year-old son recently lost 3 of their closest family members and friends.
Below is a list of items the family needs, as well as a few things that would help us truly brighten this young boy’s Christmas.

Size 8 underwear (boxer briefs)
Size 8 pants
Baseball batting helmet
Twin over full bunk bed frame (they have mattresses already)
VR headset
VR games
XL coat
XL hoodie/zip-up jacket
L/XL shirts
Grocery money
Gift card for an oil change

You can also Venmo -HARTSOCK or provide a cash donation. All proceeds will go to this young family in need.

Congratulations to our Employee of The Month Bree!!! 🎉🎉

Bree is kind, fun, hardworking, and has such an incredible way of caring for the elderly. We are so blessed to have Bree on our team! With Bree, you’ll never have a dull moment! She brings with her an advocacy for the elderly, and a passion for ensuring they are loved and cared for. Today is also her Birthday so it’s a special day for Bree!

About Bree:

I’m from California, and I came to Utah with my sister and her family while I was working through addiction—and I’m now going on 7 years sober! My favorite things are spending time with my family, going to the gym, and FOOD. I basically run on caffeine and sarcasm, and I love to laugh and make other people laugh too.

I’m deeply passionate about advocating for our residents and helping them feel loved. I’m also passionate about supporting the people I care about—my friends, my family, and the residents.

We spent some time asking our residents and staff what they’re most thankful for…Hearing their voices, their memories, and their heartfelt gratitude was the sweetest reminder that we are surrounded by so much love here.
Our community is more than a building — it’s a family. And today, we’re especially grateful for the people who make every day brighter.

We are so proud to celebrate one of our amazing residents today!
With a heart full of compassion she led a special project to hand-make over 100 hats for children in need. ❤️🧶

What started as a simple idea turned into a beautiful act of love, teamwork, and community. Watching her dedicate her time and energy to bringing warmth to so many little ones has been truly inspiring.

I changed up my bio a little bit for the post!

Hi!!! I’m Kalea :) I’m a CNA/ soon to be med tech at sunridge!!! I graduated high school just last year. I have a big family, with a total of 3 bio siblings and 10 step siblings. Growing up I moved around a lot – from Arkansas to Missouri to New Mexico, and now Utah. I plan to keep exploring new places for the rest of my life. Looking ahead, I plan to join the military as a medic before pursuing my RN.

Thanksgiving dinner reminded us just how special this community is. 🍂❤️ Sharing a meal with our residents and their families filled the room with laughter, stories, and so much love. We are grateful for every person who calls this place home and for the families who trust us to care for their loved ones. Our hearts are full, and we are so thankful for the moments like these that bring us all together.
