Long Valley Health Center works to improve the quality of life for all people of Northern Mendocino County by providing, in a respectful and compassionate manner, the most comprehensive and highest quality, integrated health care services possible. We offer medical, dental, behavioral, chiropractic, and acupuncture health services. We accept Medi-Cal, Medicare, private insurance, private pay, and offer a sliding scale for those who qualify with financial need.

With the federal government shutdown, CalFresh (SNAP) benefits are being delayed for the month of November — and we know how deeply this is impacting the families in our community. 💔

At Long Valley Health Center, our Enhanced Case Management Team truly cares about making sure no one in our community goes hungry. We’re closely following updates and expanding our efforts to help those who may be affected.

Our team partners with local Food Banks and distributes food directly to community members in need. We also operate a Resource Group that provides transportation for patients who need support with grocery shopping.

Now, we’re taking it a step further with a Community Food Drive.

✨ Here’s how you can help:
🛒 Drop off non-perishable food items at our front desk anytime the clinic is open.
🎟️ Every donation enters you into our monthly raffle for a $25 Chevron Gift Card, starting in November!

If you or someone you know is struggling with food access, please reach out to our Case Management Team. We’re here to listen, help, and to stand beside you — because no one in our community should face food insecurity alone. 💚

The United States government shutdown is anticipated to delay CalFresh benefits (Federally known as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP) for the month of November. Long Valley Health Center's Enhanced Case Management team is monitoring the updates closely and working to enhance our focus on addressing increasing food insecurity in our local community. Our team currently has partnerships with our local Food Banks and actively distributes food to community members in need. We also operate a resource group that provides transportation for patient who need support with grocery shopping.
If you would like to support our goals in addressing Food Insecurity in Laytonville and surrounding areas, please consider donating non-perishable items. Please join the Mendocino Community Wellness Collection and LVHC's Behavioral Health Department in this FREE educational series. 💚 Long Valley Health Center is here to support a Holistic view on treating all of your health care needs. 💚 As we approach cold and flu season, please join us on Thursday October 16th from 4-5pm to learn what herbs are effective for treating Respiratory Concerns and have tea with us.☕️
All attendees will go home with a free tea. Are you a local herbalist or gardener? Join us to share your knowledge or harvest and connect with your community. All patients and community members welcome! Event will be onsite at the clinic. See you there! 🌿
