I was born and raised in Cherokee, Iowa and it was here that I met my husband, Patrick, who is a veterinarian at Le Mars Veterinary Clinic.

We welcomed our daughter, Lauren, in October 2014. From the time Lauren was born she has been benefiting from chiropractic care and I am proud to say that she is a happy healthy little girl. From a young age I knew I wanted to help people better their health. However, I did not know which direction I wanted to take in order to provide health care to the community. I worked in a pharmacy while in college and after seeing person after person come in to get pills for this and that (and pills for the side effects of the pills they were taking!) I knew there had to be a different way to help people restore their health. Prior to that I worked in a chiropractic office and witnessed people getting better without the use of medicine or surgery. After those job experiences I had my answer. I graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Biology in the spring of 2009. Later that year I began my chiropractic education at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. I obtained my Doctor of Chiropractic in February 2013. As a student at Palmer I had the opportunity to help members of the Quad Cities and surrounding area. I was able to travel to Brazil for a clinic abroad program through Palmer College of Chiropractic. This gave me the opportunity to provide chiropractic care to those who would otherwise not have access to health care. While at Palmer I learned several techniques to better help people based on their area of complaint which include: Gonstead, Diversified, Thompson Drop, and Activator. I strive to help all persons of the community and find it important to provide chiropractic care to those of all ages.

It is with a heavy heart that I share that I will be out of the office Monday and Tuesday (3/2-3/3) to mourn the passing of my sweet grandmother. 🤍

Family is such a precious gift, and I’m grateful for the time to honor her life and be with those I love. Thank you so much for your understanding and grace during this time.

The Gift of Health was once again a success for helping us raise money for a local charity. This year we will be able to donate $360 to Her Health Women’s Center.
