Please note that next week is Lake County schools’ Spring Break, our girls are excited for our family spending some much needed time together. We will be closed starting at 2pm this Friday (3/6) and out of town through 3/15. During this time we will not consistently have access to phone signal or internet connection. We will check and return messages the week of 3/16.
If your pet is having an urgent medical issue, please contact us ASAP and we will work to squeeze them in prior to this closure.

As we approach our 1 year anniversary (can’t believe it’s been a year already!!), we are feeling thankful for all the wonderful pet families we have gotten to know in Leadville! We have also realized that our appointment availability has become limited/ booked out several weeks due to our recent travel to the Western Veterinary Conference and the upcoming closure for Lake County Schools spring break (3/8-3/15). For all non-emergency & wellness/vaccine visits, using the online booking tool through our website (link below) is still the best way to view and book the next available appointment times. However, if your pet is sick or has a more urgent medical need, please reach out to us and we will do our best to squeeze them in ASAP.
It is often challenging to answer calls when we are seeing patients, but we are pleased to now be able to receive and respond to text messages on the main phone line (719)413-4314. You can also leave us a voicemail or send an email to info@modernmobilevet.com and we will respond as soon as we are able to.

We are so proud of our daughter Ashley for her 1st place All Around podium🥇 and her gymnastics team for their first place team win today in Evergreen ❤️! Ashley is a 6th grader at LCIS and we travel with her down to BV to train 3-4 times a week at arkvalleyathletics Ark Valley Athletics. Her training / competition schedule is one of the biggest things that shapes our clinic schedule so we wanted to share this exciting moment with all of you! 🫶🤗🥳

Please note that we will be closed starting Friday (2/13) for a week, returning Monday (2/23). The doctors will be out of town attending the Western States Veterinary Conference, one of the two largest veterinary conferences in the nation. Did you know that Colorado requires all active veterinarians to complete a minimum of 32 hours of continuing education every 2 years in order to renew their license? It's not just a requirement, it's an important way to stay up to date on the latest advancements in veterinary science and be able to offer the our patients the highest level of cacre and treatment options. 🐾🥰
- We will have limited access to checking messages during this time, but will get back in touch as we are able to. If your pet has an urgent medical need during this time, please see our website for a list of alternative care options.
