The Leadwood Fire Protection District is proud to announce that we have been awarded a $2,000 Volunteer Fire Department Grant from MFA Incorporated.

Captain Joshua Akers and Lieutenant Dylan Miner represented our department at the check presentation ceremony held during the MUFRTI Winter Fire School and Fire Expo.

The grant funds will be used to purchase a new 20-inch ventilation saw, which will significantly enhance our fire control capabilities during structure fires. This equipment investment strengthens our ability to serve and protect our community safely and effectively.

We sincerely appreciate MFA Incorporated’s continued support of volunteer fire departments and their commitment to community safety.
