Today was something truly special.

We are beyond grateful to have been invited to attend and be a part of the Free First Responder Mental Health Seminar. Being surrounded by so many dedicated men and women who serve our communities every single day was nothing short of inspiring.

Seeing first responders from all across the area come together—not just to learn, but to support one another—was powerful. The conversations, the openness, and the willingness to grow and take care of each other… that’s what this is all about.

We had an absolute blast being there, meeting so many of you, and sharing those moments together. Getting the opportunity to broadcast LIVE from the event made it even more meaningful for us. Being able to help shine a light on something this important is exactly why we do what we do.

This wasn’t just an event—it was a reminder that no one in this line of work stands alone.

Thank you to everyone who made today possible, and thank you to every first responder who showed up, leaned in, and continues to carry the weight of the job while still choosing to support one another.

This was truly something special. ❤️

We are so thankful for all the first responders in our community and for everyone who came out today for the First Responder Mental Health Seminar! ❤️

Today, we had employees attend a Mental Health Seminar in Leadwood. It was a valuable opportunity to focus on the importance of mental wellness, especially in the line of work we do every day.

Something many people don’t often think about—our dispatchers are usually the very first voice someone hears in a moment of crisis. They answer those distress calls, gather critical information, and send help as quickly as possible. But what many don’t realize is that they rarely get to see or hear how those calls end.

They don’t always know if the person made it, if the situation was resolved safely, or how their calm voice may have made all the difference in someone’s worst moment.

That unknown can weigh heavily.

Today was a reminder that taking care of our mental health is just as important as taking care of the communities we serve. We are proud of our team for continuing to learn, grow, and support one another—both on and off the job.

Please take a moment to appreciate not just the responders you see, but also the voices behind the scenes who are there when it matters most.

With brush fire season revving up, now’s the time to stay informed!

Be sure to check burning conditions through trusted weather sources or your local fire department before lighting anything outdoors. If conditions aren’t safe, fires can spread quickly and unpredictably—leading to devastating damage.

Stay aware. Stay safe.
