Our crews responded to 41 calls for service throughout the month, working hard to keep our community safe. In addition, our dedicated volunteers logged a combined 1,076 hours of training and station time! 🔥

Help us wish Firefighter O’Neail a very happy birthday! 🎉

FF O’Neail has proudly served the Leadwood Fire Protection District for the past 2 years, making a tremendous impact both on the emergency scene and behind the scenes. Her dedication, hard work, and willingness to take on new responsibilities keep things running smoothly every day.

We’re incredibly lucky to have her as part of the LFPD. Happy Birthday, FF O’Neail! 🎂🥳

Last night, a water main feeding our firehouse burst. Chief Lewis immediately made an emergency call to Digrite in the middle of the night to help locate all critical lines.

This morning, Chief Lewis, Assistant Chief Craft, FF Goff, FF Bielik, FF O’Neail, and FF Grubb are on scene working hard to get everything repaired and back to normal.

We are incredibly grateful for our dedicated volunteers who go above and beyond for our community—no matter the hour or the job! ❤️

Join us for the 2nd Annual City of Leadwood Christmas Parade!

The parade kicks off on Main Street by the old school and will travel all the way to a magical winter wonderland in the park. Enjoy treats, hot chocolate, and plenty of festive fun — plus photo ops with Santa! Rumor has it he’ll be making a grand entrance on a fire truck! 🚒 🤫

Tonight, Leadwood Fire Protection personnel trained on First-In Unit Drills! These timed evolutions help our firefighters evaluate their performance and identify areas to improve efficiency on the fireground. 🔥 🚒

Join us in wishing Chief Lewis a very Happy Birthday! 🔥🎉

Not only is today his birthday but this month marks 40 years of service for Chief Lewis with the Leadwood Fire Protection District! He began his journey with us in 1985 at just 16 years old, and over the years, he’s earned countless certifications and inspired generations of firefighters. Out of those incredible 40 years, 21 have been spent leading as Chief — a true testament to his dedication, leadership, and passion for serving our community.

We’re proud to serve under your leadership! Happy Birthday, Chief! 🎉

Join us in wishing Captain Akers a very happy birthday! 🎊

Captain Akers has been a dedicated member of the Leadwood Fire Protection District for 22 years! Throughout his time with LFPD, he’s climbed the ranks, earned numerous state certifications, and gone on to a full-time career in the Fire Service — you might also recognize him from Farmington FD!

Most recently, Captain Akers completed the Missouri State Fire Investigator Course, adding another incredible achievement to his list.

Thank you for your dedication and leadership to our community, Captain! 👨🏻‍🚒 🚒
