Oh my I’m not sure how we went through the day and not know it was even more of a special day!? National donor day… with out you guys Andrew and Joseph personally to us, Valentine’s Day would have looked a lot different. I’m so thankful for your big selfless hearts to give me my love back to me! 🫶🏻

On this National Donor Day, which is also Valentine's Day, Transplant Life Foundation is celebrating the ultimate act of love: Donation.💓

While the world often focuses on romantic relationships today, we are choosing to honor love in all its beautiful and diverse forms. We see love in the fierce devotion of a parent, the unwavering support of a best friend, and the incredible, selfless bond between a donor and a recipient.

Donation is a testament to the fact that love knows no boundaries and requires no introduction. Whether it is the gift of organ, eye, tissue, blood, or bone marrow, these acts represent a profound commitment to our shared humanity. Today, we celebrate the relationships that sustain us and the donors who make a future possible for so many families.

We invite you to join us in recognizing that the most significant way to share your heart is to give the gift of life to another. 💞

Wow life has been so extremely busy since we left the hospital after transplant, I just realized it has been a while since we’ve been on to give an update…. So here it is:

Wayne’s kidney aka FRANK is functioning at 97%!! Amazing! Levels are great, meds are ever changing and who’s Dr prescribes diet Dr Pepper as a supplement to help bring up his phosphorus!? Well apparently Wayne’s does and it’s so funny to literally have a rx to drink it 2x a day 🤣

There was a slight set back due to a bladder infection but that has since cleared up. Hes doinf well.

I fell at our son’s football game end of October and broke my humerus bone and ended up needing surgery 😩 I’ve never broke a bone in my life and this sucks!! But I’m thankful Wayne is doing as great as he is because now I’m the one needing help! Long road to recovery but we’ll get there!

Today was our oldest daughter’s (jaylen) graduation from college! Big deal as she’s the first kid, grandkid, great grandkid and 1st from our families to graduate to say I shed a tear or a lot is not in question lol so extremely proud of her!!

Well we can’t make this mess up listen (read🤔) to this: honestly, we really need prayers for the devil to get off our backs! We must be meant for something great for the devil to try getting at us like he’s tried with set back and broken arm. Wayne is ok but we are sitting in the er just getting checked out. Earlier today he was walking through Kroger parking lot going to buy flowers for our daughter and this lady trying to pull into parking spot going the wrong way and hit him!!!! She tried to run off but to many people saw her and she stopped but didn’t give info. Wayne took picture of her license plate and we filed a police report. He was little sore and wanted to check on his kidney so over all he’s ok but back off the gas devil dude we’re tired!!

So that my lovely people is the update with the Ingrams in a nutshell since transplant.

My brother Tex Steadman if you can throw some of yalls great cooking his way my dude could use it. His favorites are MAC N CHEESE, tacos of any sorts “not Taco Bell that’s 🤮”, breakfast for dinner biscuits and gravy for sure, or honestly anything that’s just home cooked. He’s a great guy and has been there for me in my personal kidney journey pushing me to be stronger not just physically but mentally.

9/27 marks 11 years married to my best friend my rock that has been with me side by side step for step. Saying I’m thankful for her is an understatement. I do thank God for here every moment everyday. These are only a few words but even if I had all the words in the world it still wouldn’t be enough to say what she is to me and our family. I love you pretty girl I can’t want for this next chapter to see what God has planned for us i have no clue what that is but finding out is going to be exciting.

Another surgery, another small victory in Avery White’s long and exhausting journey. At just 20 years old, Avery has lived with CAPS, a rare inflammatory disorder, that has left her body frail and her weight down to just 77 pounds.

Yesterday, she faced her greatest challenge yet — open-heart surgery. The risks were high, but with the same courage she’s shown time and again, Avery pulled through. The operation was a success, her doctors breathed a sigh of relief, and her family clung tightly to hope.

But this is only the beginning. Recovery will be long, fragile, and demanding. Each day ahead will test her strength, her faith, and the love that surrounds her.

Avery’s story isn’t just about illness — it’s about resilience, courage, and the unbreakable bond of family.
