Have you met Dr Joey?
Dr. Joseph Sanchez, also known as Dr. Joey, recently relocated to the Austin area after spending several years in Dallas. He grew up in Colorado Springs, CO, where he developed a deep appreciation for nature, hiking, and staying active. Growing up near the mountains helped inspire his lifelong passion for health, movement, and helping others feel their best.
Before pursuing chiropractic, Dr. Sanchez built a strong foundation in the arts and education. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Colorado Mesa University and went on to complete his Master of Music in Performance at the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music. A classically trained oboist, his years of performing on the oboe refined his discipline, focus, and understanding of breath control, posture, and biomechanics, skills that now influence his approach to patient care.
He later earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker University, where he graduated with clinical recognition for his work with patients. Prior to becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Sanchez also spent several years working in healthcare operations, gaining valuable experience in patient communication, systems management, and delivering high-quality care experience.
Dr. Joey is proud to be part of a team dedicated to helping people live without limits. He enjoys working with patients to improve joint function, restore mobility, and support proper biomechanics so they can move and function more efficiently in their daily lives. Since moving to the Austin area, he has enjoyed exploring the community, meeting new people, and spending time outdoors whenever he can.
