Meet Shay from OTF Athens 🧡​

What started as one class with a coworker turned into a complete lifestyle shift — physically, mentally, and emotionally.​

She says, "When I first joined Orangetheory I was recently diagnosed with PCOS and my A1C was in the prediabetic range. I wanted to get healthier, but I lacked motivation to exercise. My coworker introduced me to Orangetheory and invited me to attend a class with her. From day one, the coaches at Orangetheory have been extremely welcoming, motivating, and most importantly CARING during my fitness journey. It’s truly the coaches, staff, classmates, and overall Orangetheory community that motivate me to continue coming to class 4 to 5 times a week. Orangetheory has changed my life and December 27, 2021 (my first class), is a day I will never forget because that’s the day my life turned around for the better! Not only have I lost a significant amount of weight (starting weight 305), but my confidence and overall mental well-being have increased as well. I couldn’t thank Orangetheory enough and I look forward to my hour of what I consider ME time every class!"​
