Each year, the County Appraiser's Office must physically inspect 17% of the parcels in the county. This year the Appraiser's office is working in rural areas south and west of Stillwell Road and 190th Street and the City of Basehor and Tonganoxie. Employees of the Appraiser's Office will be going to the properties to measure and check the data on these properties. Each employee will have an ID badge and will be in the county vehicle. A door card will be left on the property if no one is home. The employees will NOT go inside any buildings on a property without the owner's permission.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact the Leavenworth County Appraiser's Office at 913-684-0440.

988 is a new, national phone number that recently went live to help people get help when in a mental health crisis. Similar to 911, this line is dedicated for anyone in need of mental health assistance of any kind.
988, because emergency numbers start with 9, and a mental health crisis is an emergency.
