Lebanon Medical Associates/Dr. Kirk is currently hiring a full-time Medical Assistant.

Job Requirements:
Perform a variety of clinical duties. This position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and clinical staff. General clinic knowledge and clinical functions to include: drawing lab tests, taking vitals, entering patient medical history into our electronic medical records. Previous experience working in a fast-paced medical practice is preferred. Salary based on experience.

This position is 4 days a week, Tuesday thru Friday, no weekends or Holidays.

Did you know that telehealth virtual visits can be used to help diagnose conditions such as acute appendicitis? Our staff have the resources and skills to conduct thorough exams without physically touching the patient. Last week, we were able to recognize and evaluate a patient with abdominal pain without actually having the patient in our office. The patient was diagnosed with appendicitis and after confirmation, was admitted to the hospital for removal of the appendix. So, our patients can have full confidence that our clinicians and technicians will utilize a variety of methods to help our patients through our new telehealth services.

Worried about the cost of a visit during this time? We understand that the current health pandemic has created financial hardships on individuals in our community. At this time, copays for Telehealth (virtual visits) are being waived, so patients will not be required to pay a copay for our virual services.
*The only exceptions are self-pay patients (individuals without insurance), and patients with Passport Advantage (Passport Medicaid has NO copay, we can see Medicaid patients), and United Healthcare. These select few do require a $50 charge.

There are various telehealth platforms our office is currently using to interact with patients. Depending on your source of communication (iPhone, iPad, computer, etc), we can contact you for face-to-face visits with various methods. Some of the methods we are currently using are:

Facetime --> For patients that have iPhones, iPads, or Macs.
doxy.me --> For patients that have access to a computer but not Facetime.
Facebook Messenger Video --> For patients that have access to a computer and Facebook

Telephone --> For patients that do not have any devices to have a face-to-face virtual visit, you can still speak with a provider regarding your health problems.

Lebanon Medical Associates is here for you and plans to offer medical care without interruption. We need your help by having you continue to see us for your routine medical follow ups, either by phone, video or in person. It may not be financially possible for us to stay open if patients don't keep their appointments for routine preventative and maintenance care. We have taken extensive precautions to make your visit safe. If you have any respiratory complaints such as cough, congestion or fever we require that you enter through the side door and use the waiting room on that side of the building, which will be isolated from the rest of the office. You will be given a face mask to wear in order to prevent spread of germs. Our office staff is wearing protective gear in order to protect you and the staff from the spread of the virus. We encourage the use of video conferencing, through FaceTime if you have an iPad or an iPhone, or by invitation if you have a Windows PC or Android phone. This the safest and most convenient way for us to see you. If you need testing based on this virtual visit then you can stop in front of the office and be tested at your car.
