I will be switching the .com to .org on the website I just had to see if this was the problem and apparently it was. Clearnce Ray Burkett passed away at the age of 73, January 9th, 2026 at downtown Norton Hospital in the care of Hosparus Unit, surrounded by his loving wife, kids, and care team. Born on October 14th, 1952 came an unforgettable, God-fearing, southern country man known to many as Ray Burkett. He served in the Kentucky National Guard between 1972-1982 as an E5 Sgt. Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 63B Power Generator and Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic. He retired from Marion County Road Department as a Garbage Truck Driver of 20 years. Ray was a man that never met a stranger and brought smiles and laughs along the way. On his spare time, he enjoyed getting out and riding nature trails, visiting Three Pines with friends and family, and laying on the couch with his cats watching a western on tv.

He is preceded in death by his mother and Father; late wife Juanita Burkett; 1 sister Virginia Burkett; 3 brothers Ashby Stewart, Roy Burkett, Bill Burkett; and many more.

He is survived by his wife, Patty Burkett; 2 beloved cats, Annie and Sam; 2 Daughters Alyson Coffman (Joe Gary Yocum) and Monica Adams (Michael); and 2 Sons David and Bill (Brittany); and 3 grandchildren Kylie, Rory, and Will; 4 nieces, 3 nephews.

Funeral arrangements will be held at Campbell-Fisher Funeral Home in Lebanon Ky on Monday, January 12th, 2026. Visitation will begin at 10:00am. Funeral Service will begin 1:00pm. Bro. Bo Sherrell will lead preaching services burial will follow in the Old Liberty Cemetery with Full Military Honors by Marion County Honor Guard. Campbell-Fisher is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Edrie Iona Wright, age 95, passed away at home on December 31, 2025. She was born to the late Elza Stephen Wright and Sallie Kemper Coppage Wright on August 15, 1930 in Casey County, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Dixie Geneva Wright, Cleota Christine Wright Browning, Thomas Marshall Wright, Alma Beula (Alma B) Wright Overstreet, William Hillary (Bill) Wright and George Leonard Wright.

She is survived by three nephews, two nieces, two great-nieces, and a wealth of beloved friends and neighbors. She dedicated many years to being a caregiver. Ede was also a talented cook and baker, seamstress, knitter and crocheter. She was an avid collector of various cookbooks and recipes as well as a longtime faithful member of the Pleasant Valley Christian Church.

Funeral Service for Ms. Edrie Iona Wright will be conducted on Monday, January 5th, 2026 at 1 p.m. at the Campbell-Fisher Funeral Home Chapel with public visitation starting at 10 a.m. and going until time of service at 1 p.m. with burial to follow in the Old Liberty Cemetery. Bro. Delane Pinkston will be officiating the service. Campbell-Fisher Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be: Marchall Wright, Chester Wright, Donald Overstreet, David Mudd, Jacob Beeler and Anthony Evans.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Gideons International or your favorite charity.

Cynthia Marie Washington-Cowherd was born on November 21, 1947, in Lebanon, Kentucky, to Mary Margaret Lancaster-Washington and father, Joseph Washington.

Cynthia attended and graduated from St. Augustine Catholic School in Lebanon, Kentucky. She earned her LPN license at a Danville School of Nursing, and worked in various nursing homes in Louisville, Kentucky. She also worked at Angel Manufacturing in Lebanon, Kentucky.

Cynthia was a devout Catholic who loved her family, music, dancing, baking, decorating, and refurbishing antique furniture. Cynthia had a special bond with a sister-in-law, Mary Catherine Adams, who nicknamed her C.I., and an Aunt Lula Bernice “Baby”, whom she called out regularly, who nicknamed her Senorita Butterfly. She was affectionately called Poodie by her grandchildren.

Cynthia departed this life on December 26, 2025, at the age of 78 and preceded in death by her son William Thomas Cowherd, Jr., brothers Joseph Washington, Jody Washington, and David Lee Scott.

Cynthia leaves to cherish her memories her daughters, Michelle Washington-Porter (Louisville, KY) and Mary Kay Cowherd (Lebanon, KY), and her son Corey Cowherd (Louisville, Kentucky), grandchildren, Jamique, Kayla, Blake, Coreyonia, Dontey, Jimi, Kaedyn, and Kyra, and great-grandchildren, SyMiah, Kalia, K’Dynce, and Keaton, sisters Gloria Washington (Lebanon), Elaine Turner (Louisville), and Wanda Eneje (West Virginia), Goddaughter, Sherri (Pebbles) Ephran, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral Service and visitation will be conducted for Cynthia Marie Washington-Cowherd on Saturday, January 3rd, 2026 with visitation starting from 8 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the Campbell-Fisher Funeral Home after that time Ms. Cowherd will be moved to St. Augustine Catholic Church for 11 a.m. Funeral Mass and burial to follow in the St. Augustine Cemetery with Fr. Daniel Whelan officiating. Campbell-Fisher Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. James “Hucky” Hardin age 73 of Lebanon, Kentucky, passed away on December 24, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family.

Mr. Hardin was preceded in death by his parents; James Hubert and Alice Mae Hunt Hardin, two Brothers; Bobby Hardin and Eugene Hardin, three sisters: Mary Mullins, Wanda Shuck and Libby Rawlings.

Mr. James “Hucky” Hardin is survived by his wife: Virginia Hardin, one son: James (Tiffany) Hardin. one Daughter: Alice Mae (Les) Webb, one sister; Lillie Tucker, six grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren along with a host of other family and friends.
