Good Tuesday morning. My Monday was ok, no issues, early. Todd came home, they ate dinner & watched a movie. Everything was great until all of the sudden I started feeling dizzy& my eyesight was blurry. I went to the bedroom, ate something & took some meds. I started feeling better & then went to sleep. We're thinking that it's been a combination reaction to eating less, cutting back on pain meds & medically induced menopause. Then at 2am Gus threw up & Todd got it all cleaned up. Then Gus threw up 2 more times & pooped on the floor. Gus wasn't out of our sight all day/night, so we don't understand what happened. Todd only got 4hrs of sleep and he's not feeling good, but still went to work. Gus hasn't done anything since 3:30 AM. It'll be chicken & rice for a while. I've been up since 2am & I'm worn out! I'm praying that today is a better day with Gus & that I won't get dizzy again. Lord please give Todd all the physical/mental strength he needs right now as he is taking care of so much, in every aspect of his life 💞🙏💞

"RIGHTEOUS WISDOM

The first characteristic of righteousness that the psalmist points out is doing what is right. “Save me and rescue me, for you do what is right” (Psalms 71:2).

We all know that it’s not always easy to know what the right thing is. Life is complicated, and there are usually as many sides to any story as the number of people involved. But when Jeremiah prophecies about the fulfillment of righteousness through Christ, he shows us the secret to doing what is right. “‘For the time is coming,’ says the Lord, ‘when I will raise up a righteous descendant from King David’s line. He will be a King who rules with wisdom. He will do what is just and right throughout the land’” (Jeremiah 23:5).

God’s perfect wisdom is a crucial building block that forms His righteousness. “‘But true wisdom and power are found in God; counsel and understanding are his’” (Job 12:13). The Lord understands everything perfectly. He has all the necessary information and insight to make the best decisions for His creatures. His ways are righteous because they are based on perfect wisdom.

This means that we need the same wisdom if we were to live righteously. In his letter to Titus, Paul gives the first Christians some guidance on wise and righteous living (Titus 2). He encourages young and old, male and female, to “live wisely” (v.2, 5, 6). And the way the believers were to do it was by their example. “And you yourself must be an example to them by doing works of every kind. Let everything you do reflect the integrity and seriousness of your teaching” (v.7)

And that is our first weapon for righteous living. Practice what you preach!

Can you think of areas in your life where your behavior doesn’t reflect what you teach other people to do? How can you change that?

Let us ask the Lord for His perfect wisdom to do what is right in every circumstance. And let our example bring His righteousness to the world around us. “Dear children, don’t let anyone deceive you about this: When people do what is right, it shows that they are righteous” 1 John 3:7"

Good, God given Monday morning. Mondays are always rough, but I'm still happy to be given another day to love God, my family and friends, I am blessed beyond measure. That's what I need to focus on. I had a wonderful Sunday. I went to church, went to lunch with my son that was in church with us. Then we went home and watched a movie and relaxed. There was a time during the evening when both of my eyes went really blurry, and I was feeling dizzy. It didn't last for very long, but it was kind of scary. There are no plans for today.
I'm praying that we all have a wonderful Monday. God bless you all. ❤️🙏❤️

"The Father Who Hid His Pain

Bob long resented his father for being distant. But when Mr. O revealed the truth, he saw a man broken by the trauma of war, silently battling memories he could never speak of. Bob saw his father rocking him as a baby, tears streaming down his face. In that moment, Bob realized his father had loved him deeply but was too wounded to show it. When Bob forgave him, the spoke representing his father burst into light, and joy filled the room.

Many of us carry resentment toward parents who were absent, harsh, or silent. Yet God calls us to honour them, not because they were perfect, but because forgiveness frees us. Releasing our parents’ failures does not excuse their choices; it releases us to live in peace, defined not by the past but by the grace of God.

Prayer:
Lord, I have carried resentment toward my father. Help me see him through Your eyes. I release the pain, bless him, and choose forgiveness. Fill me with Your peace and teach me to live free. In Jesus’ name, amen."

Good Sunday, the Lord's day, morning. This is an amazing Sunday above all other Sundays, because I have not been to church for a while. My major kidney infection, that was horrible, what's the worst infection i've ever had. I am so excited to be able to go to church
Yesterday was a rough day for me, it's a TMI kind of conversation, so I will not go into details. Todd came home to something unexpected, to deal with. Todd is amazing and took care of the problem, without. Complaint. He even made me laugh when I was ready to cry. We hung out and watched a movie & played Yahtzee, at home. That was pretty good. Today will be Church, lunch, home to watch TV. I feel better and I'm not sleeping the days away anymore. God is good. He answers prayers.💞🙏🏼💞

"Deadly Secrets and the Escape Tunnel

When Mr. O asked Bob to forgive the woman who killed Michelle in a hit-and-run, Bob resisted. “She does not deserve it,” he said. But his refusal sent him to the Escape Tunnel, a place of darkness and unforgiveness, and bound him to torment until, in agony, he cried out, “I forgive her.” Light broke through, and he was restored by Mr. O. Later, Bob learned that the woman had repressed the memory for years, fallen into addiction, and eventually found freedom through Christ, becoming a counsellor to trauma survivors.

Unforgiveness is a prison we build for ourselves. It feels like justice, but it is bo***ge. Jesus taught that if we do not forgive others, our Father will not forgive us. The Escape Tunnel in the story is a vivid image of what happens when bitterness consumes the heart. When we choose to forgive, we are not excusing sin; we are surrendering the right to revenge and trusting God’s justice instead.

Prayer:
Father, my heart is heavy with old wounds. I have mistaken bitterness for justice. Today, I choose to forgive and release this pain to You. Heal me and fill me with Your freedom. In Jesus’ name, amen."

Saturday March 14, 2026

Good Saturday morning, Saturday morning is usually my favorite day of the week, but today is different. Todd is working. Luckily, I have homecare today and that's a blessing for sure.
Im gonna pray that you all have a wonderful Saturday and that we all stay safe and healthy.💞🙏🏼💞

"The Coach Who Carried Shame

Mr. O showed Bob a long-buried memory of his high school coach, Mr. B. This time, Bob saw not the harsh, limping man who mocked him but a young boy with polio who had once dropped a ball and watched his father walk away. That moment shaped a lifetime of bitterness. Mr. B never learned how to give love because he never received it. When Bob forgave him, the weight of resentment broke, and he felt free for the first time.

Many people we encounter act out of their own pain. Teachers, parents, bosses, and even friends may wound us not from malice but from the brokenness within them. The Bible calls us to be slow to speak and slow to anger. When we respond with grace instead of bitterness, we reflect the heart of Christ and invite healing into our own lives.

Prayer:
Lord, I have carried anger toward those who hurt me. Help me see their pain as You do. I choose to release my bitterness and receive Your mercy. Heal my heart and restore my peace. In Jesus’ name, amen."

[32] Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.

Matthew 6:14-15
[14] “If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you.
[15] But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Good Friday, morning! Friday. Usually, means the start of a weekend with Todd every day, but this weekend Todd is working Saturday. So today is a little different, that doesn't mean that today cannot be a great day because it will be a great Friday. I am slowly decreasing the amount of pills I take, to hopefully, eventually not have to take any pills God willing. I pray that we all have a safe and healthy friday & a wonderful weekend❤️🙏🏼❤️

"The Boy Behind the Bully

In The Waiting Room, Bob watched as Mr. O activated the Way-Back, a machine that can look back to the past, to reveal the truth behind Karl: the boy who once tormented him. Bob saw what he had never known. Karl was beaten daily by his older brother, Tom, who later died in a North Vietnamese prison.

When Karl learned of Tom’s death, he collapsed in despair until a woman named Anna shared the gospel with him. He surrendered his life to Christ, was baptized, and later became a missionary in Peru who fed the hungry and cared for the poor.

Bob realized he had judged Karl based on a single moment, but God saw the entire story. When he chose to forgive, the bitterness he had carried for decades lifted, and peace flooded his soul.

We often carry anger toward those who have hurt us, forgetting that most pain has a backstory. God does not excuse sin, but He calls us to look deeper with compassion. Forgiveness is not weakness; it is trust that God’s justice is greater than our own.

Payer:
Father, I have judged others by what I could see. Open my eyes to the pain behind their actions. Replace hardness with compassion, and teach me to forgive as You have forgiven me. In Jesus’ name, amen."

Good God-given Thursday morning! Yesterday was a good day! Vanessa & I took Gus to get groomed, then w got breakfast, then we went to Walmart & finally we picked Gus up. We got home to Todd being home early, due to rain. The rest of the day was s great, hanging out with Todd! I was in my wheelchair for 14 hours and it did not bother me, thank you Lord ❤️
I don't have any plans today. Just a day of rest, watching Gus that got groomed, and is half the size that he was, it's kind of funny. Then, spending a wonderful evening with Todd. That's always a great evening, thank the Lord for blessing me with so many things that I don't deserve💞🙏🏼💞

"“I Don’t Know What Makes Me Happy Anymore”

Myth: Joy will just magically show up when life gets easier.
Truth: You have to pursue it like it’s worth finding again.
There comes a point in certain seasons, especially ones filled with caregiving, chaos, or chronic stress, where you stop asking, What do I love? and start asking, What’s the next thing I have to get done? Productivity hides play, and things just don’t feel . . . fun.

But joy doesn’t disappear overnight. It fades quietly under piles of laundry, to-do lists, and emotional fatigue, and eventually, you wake up and realize, I’m living my life, but not really feeling it.

Oof. Ever been there? Are you there now?

If that’s where you are, here’s what I know: You’re not broken, you’re likely just disconnected from delight. But joy is not a luxury for a calmer season. It’s a lifeline for the one you’re in.

Joy is worth searching for! It’s not just for when your schedule clears but especially for when it doesn’t. It’s not just for when life gets easier but especially because it’s not easy now. It’s not just for when the messy things become less messy but especially because they’re messy. Because a soul without joy doesn’t just feel sad. It feels numb.

And here’s the good news of grace: You don’t need to overhaul your whole life to get your joy back. You need to notice what makes your heart spark again, even just a flicker.

That flicker of joy you feel—it matters. It may be small, quiet, barely there, but God never asks us to ignore it. He asks us to fan it into flame.

In his second letter to Timothy, the Apostle Paul writes,
“For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands”
2 Timothy 1:6

He’s not talking about faking joy or forcing feelings. He’s talking about stirring up what God already placed inside you. That flicker—the spark of joy, creativity, passion, calling—it’s in there. It may be buried under exhaustion or fear or apathy, but it hasn’t gone out. And it wasn’t given to you for a season—it was planted in you for endurance.

Paul goes on to say,
“For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control”
2 Timothy 1:7.
Which means you’re not left empty-handed when life gets heavy. You’ve been equipped—not with perfection, but with power. Not with performance, but with presence.

So if you’ve forgotten what brings you joy . . .

If you’ve been living on autopilot, feeling dull, distant, or stuck . . .

Let this be the holy nudge: It’s not too late to fan it back into flame.

You don’t need to know exactly what it will become. You just need to start where you are. God delights in meeting you there—not when you’ve mastered joy, but when you humbly say, “I want it back.”

Let the flicker rise.

It can be a song that lifts your chest, a walk that clears your mind, a memory that stirs you to laugh. It can be a minute in stillness, one uninterrupted meal, a whispered prayer that reminds you: God’s still here.

Joy is both a gift and a skill. And God delights in giving you the gift, but He also partners with you in the pursuit. You don’t have to settle for survival. You were made for delight tooʻ."

Nehemiah 8:10
[10] And Nehemiah continued, “Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!”

Psalms 16:11
[11] You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever.

Galatians 5:22-23
[22] But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
[23] gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!

Wednesday, March 11, 2026

Good Wednesday, halfway through the week, morning. I'm so glad that the week is halfway over. Todd took me yesterday to get my hair washed, to run a bunch of errands, and get something to eat. It was a nice evening out. I'm supposed to take Gus to get groomed Today. I'm praying that the rain does not continue, but if so, I will get a little wet, it'll be okay. I'm finally done with antibiotics. I am working on getting rid of all of the extra watèr weight from the antibiotics and from the kidney infection. I'm praying everything will clear up sooner than expected. I have stopped taking some of my major pills, that I started taking months ago, I realized that I did not need them. I'm starting to downsize, many of the pills that I take, because I was told that I need them, I realized that I do not need them. That they are hurting me instead of helping me. I can do better and be better, with God on my side 💞🙏💞

«“I Should Be Past This by Now”

Myth: Growth should be faster, easier, cleaner.
Truth: Joy often grows best in slow, nonlinear places.
For me, there’s often a voice that creeps in when I’m tired of struggling with the same thing again: “Seriously? This again? You should be past this by now.”

Let me identify that voice for you right now that we nodded at in Day 3. This is the voice of the enemy of our souls.

You may hear that voice during emotional burnout, the pull of people pleasing, old habits, or familiar doubts, because it’s frustrating when the progress we want feels like a treadmill and hamster wheel instead of a finish line.

Can I remind you of this: Spiritual growth isn’t a straight shot. It’s seasonal, cyclical, and sometimes even silent. In fact, the whole story of Scripture is full of faithful people who took the long way through their healing, calling, and joy.

A great example of this is the Israelites. Their journey should’ve only taken 11 days, but it was somehow stretched into 40 years (see Deuteronomy 1:2-3). But even in the wilderness, God provided manna daily, their shoes didn’t wear out, and His presence never left them despite their grumbling and complaining. Progress looked like provision, not perfection.

God is not in a rush. He’s a gentleman: He’s always on time, and He isn’t pressuring us to get there faster. He’s not grading your speed and performance. He’s forming your character. He’s teaching you to return, to rely, to remember that His love is patient and persistent and so is His work for you.

So if you feel like you “should be further along,” pause and ask: Who told me that? Because God didn’t. Instead, He says, “Come to me.” (Matthew 11:28, esv). Whether it’s the first or the 500th time.

Don’t mistake the middle for failure. Sometimes the loop is the lesson.

A few things for you to ponder:

Where in your life are you feeling like you should be “over it” by now?
Can you name signs of growth that don’t look dramatic but are still real?
What’s one way God might be using this “loop” to shape your trust or perspective?"

Deuteronomy 1:2-3
[2] Normally it takes only eleven days to travel from Mount Sinai to Kadesh-barnea, going by way of Mount Seir.
[3] But forty years after the Israelites left Egypt, on the first day of the eleventh month, Moses addressed the people of Israel, telling them everything the Lord had commanded him to say.

Philippians 1:6
[6] And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.

Ecclesiastes 7:8
[8] Finishing is better than starting. Patience is better than pride.

Matthew 11:28-30
[28] Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.
[29] Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
[30] For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”

Good god-given Tuesday morning.
I can't believe it's Tuesday already. With all the meds, the infection, ì feel like I've just been sleeping my life away.
I don't sleep all day, but then as soon as Todd gets home, it seems like I sleep The rest of the night. It's pretty frustrating and upsetting. I'm not having as much pain, but that's because i'm not awake to feel the pain. I'm hoping that things will get back to normal soon, since i'm done with antibiotic, finally. I'm looking forward to actually being involved in my life again, every day, all day! I know all of these situations recently were lessons that God was using to teach me to focus more on him and to trust him, because he is in control of my life❤️🙏❤️

"The Day Everything Changed
There are moments that arrive without warning and break everything. It happened to me. One day I was fine… and the next day, nothing was the same.

The first thing I felt was fear. Then a deep sense of having no control. I wanted to understand, fix it, run… but I couldn’t.

In the middle of that chaos, something stayed with me: I was not alone. The Bible says,

“God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble”
Psalm 46:1

Not when everything is fixed. But when everything is broken.

That day, nothing was resolved. But I realized I didn’t have to solve everything that day. I just had to keep breathing… and trust.

Prayer
God, today I feel fragile. I’m afraid and full of questions. Help me remember I'm not alone and feel that You are holding me, even when everything breaks. Amen."

Good God‐given Monday morning, the start of a new week that God has given us. À day, Monday, that could be looked at as a horrible day, ɓecause it's the end of a weekend, I choose to look at it as a new week that I can do better and be better than last week.
I'm not on antibiotic anymore, thank God!
The antibiotics and the kidney infection combination did so much horrific things to my body. I'm looking forward to draining all of the fluid retention that has happened to my body. I'm looking forward to my immune system getting stronger. I'm looking forward to a week without sleeping every day away. ♥️🙏🏼♥️

«“Gratitude Cancels the Hard”

Myth: If I’m grateful, I shouldn’t still feel frustrated.
Truth: Gratitude and grief can hold hands.
Somewhere along the way, we (including myself here) started believing that gratitude and struggle are mutually exclusive. Like if we acknowledge something is hard, we’re being ungrateful or if we’re truly thankful, we shouldn’t still ache.

But if we look at this biblically, that’s never how God asked us to live.

There’s something beautiful in the tension here. If we had everything we need and were always comfortable, would we feel the daily need for a Comforter? Perhaps not. And if we live in a constant “I want more,” will we ever fully experience the gifts and tangible deposits God has given us today? Perhaps not.

The tension is needed for our heart, soul, and body to be reminded that (1) this is not our home and that’s why our heart aches for more and (2) God is a giver of good gifts if we keep our eyes open to see them.

David, a man after God’s own heart, was constantly swinging between praise and pain, and that’s what makes the Psalms so beautiful to me. In Psalm 13, he starts with, “How long, O Lord? Will you forget me forever?” and ends with “I will sing the Lord’s praises, for he has been good to me” (verses 1, 6, niv). It’s not one or the other. It’s both, and. Not either, or.

Jesus Himself, the very picture of perfect obedience, wept at Lazarus’s tomb even though He knew resurrection was coming (see John 11:35). His gratitude for God’s glory didn’t cancel out His empathy for human pain.

Gratitude is not a Band-Aid for heartbreak. It’s not a denial of hardship. It’s the soul’s way of holding both truth and trust, saying, “This hurts, and God is still good.” That’s the holy grit and defiant gratitude that breeds intimacy with our heavenly Father.

You’re allowed to cry and give thanks. You’re allowed to long for something more and praise Him for what already is. You’re allowed to sit in the ache and still whisper, “I know You’re here.”

Your wholeness and healing aren’t found in pretending everything’s okay; they’re found in knowing that even in your not okay, God draws near and He’s big enough to hold both your joy and your sorrow without asking you to pick one.

A few things to ponder:

Is there something you’ve been afraid to grieve because you feel like it might make you seem ungrateful?
Where have you experienced both joy and pain at the same time?
Talk to God honestly: “I’m thankful for ____. And it still hurts that ____.”

2 Corinthians 6:10
[10] Our hearts ache, but we always have joy. We are poor, but we give spiritual riches to others. We own nothing, and yet we have everything.

Philippians 4:6-7
[6] Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
[7] Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

Good Sunday, the Lord's day, morning. Sunday is always a wonderful day, It would be even more wonderful if I was able to go to church. I'm on the super strong antibiotic and have a weak immune system, I can't be around a lot of people. That makes me sad. Luckily, today is the last day of my antibiotics, I'm so excited because the antibiotics tear me up. They exacerbate all of my MS symptoms. MS already makes my life miserable, then the kidney infection causes a lot of symptoms as well. So I'm just a mess. I sleep non-stop, when I wake up from sleeping, I cannot function at all, it's like my body shuts down while I sleep. We don't have any plans today, except that we're getting together with our boys for dinner. That's always a nice time❤️ ì thank you all for your prayers, love and support! It means more to me than I can explain.💞🙏💞

"Don’t Trade Joy for Expectations

Anticipation, if not well managed, can rob us of our joy. The Psalmist said, “This is the day that the Lord has made…” not yesterday, not tomorrow, not the future, but today. Yesterday is a memory; tomorrow is a prospect; but today is a gift. Enjoy it.

God’s pattern of provision focuses on one day at a time. When God provided manna for the Israelites, he instructed them to only take enough for the day. Then the Lord said to Moses, “I will cause food to fall from the sky. This food will be for you to eat. Every day the people should go out and gather the food they need that day. I will do this to see if they will do what I tell them." (Exodus 16:4).

When Jesus was teaching his disciples how to pray, what we now know as the Lord’s prayer, one of the lines says, “Give us today, our daily bread.” These patterns aim to teach us a life of daily absolute trust and faith in Jesus.

Eventually, all our hopes and aspirations will come true if they align with God’s will, but trading our joy and peace of mind for those grand moments is not God’s desire for us. Friends, eventually, you will buy that property; you will get that job; you will buy that car; you will have that beautiful marriage and happy home; you will have those beautiful children; you will get that degree; you will get that healing, but while those realities are still in view, live.

We don’t have to live so uptight, waiting for the big moment to live a joyful life. Enjoy each day as a gift because it’s not coming back. Find joy in the little things. Smell the roses; feel the sunshine; enjoy the rain.

Life will give you one thousand and one reasons to be sad, hopeless, and cynical; all you need to do is turn on the news. Is it war and terrorism; is it natural disasters, su***de cases, starvation and hunger, murder and robbery, kidnapping and child molestation? There is enough going on around the world to be sad about, but you have to be intentional about living out your joy. Sometimes, we have to leave the big stuff for God to solve while we play our part. Only God can create a world of absolute peace, void of tyranny and chaos.

Starting today, take your joy away from that goal. Life is defined by moments, and these moments become memories we later cherish in our twilight years. Plan for tomorrow, but don’t live there. Remember, today is the day that the Lord has made. Be glad and rejoice in it.«

Good God-given Saturday morning! I'm so happy that It's the weekend and I get to sleep in, with Todd and enjoy a whole day together ❤️

"The Power of Gratitude

1Thess. 5:18 “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

I have a journal called the gratitude journal, where I document the things I’m grateful for in life. Why is this important to me? I have realized that as humans, the more we reach out for more in life, the easier it is to forget God’s goodness in the past. We can be so fixated on the next that we forget where we are coming from. We can get so frustrated with slight delays, be it the next car, the next job, or the next breakthrough, that we forget our past miracles. Remembering the tough seasons we survive is a good anchor in our waiting seasons.

There are probably challenges and problems you never knew how you survived, but through the help of God, you did. Maybe it’s a health issue, a job loss, an accident, or a legal matter. At the time, all hope seemed lost, and there wasn’t a way out, but God came through. Don’t just gloss over these experiences as if they don’t matter; write them out as points of gratitude. Remember, a grateful life is a joyful life.

The goal is not to stay in the past. No, life has to be progressive, and the best of God is never your past miracles, but while you forge ahead, remember, acknowledge and document the things you are grateful for. In the wilderness, the Israelites experienced miracles upon miracles, manna from heaven, water from the rock, and an abundant supply of quails as meat. They had the pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night, but just like many of us, they forget all of these, and one by one, they almost all perish in the wilderness.

The goal of the devil is to keep us focused on what is not working yet in our lives and consequently lure us to deny God. We see this in the life of Job. He inflicted him with so much pain and tragedy that at its climax, his wife said to him, curse God and die. But Job stood his ground, and in the end, God gave him back double for everything he lost.

You cannot live a joyful life if you are not intentional about your gratitude. Write down at least three things you are grateful for today. The more grateful you are, the more things you will have to be grateful for. The Bible says, "Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done." (Phil 4:6)."
