Samaritan Health Services has reached an agreement with Health Net to keep Samaritan providers and services 𝐢𝐧 𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤.
We know recent communication about a potential May 15 change has caused confusion. 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐨𝐜𝐜𝐮𝐫, and you can continue to access care with Samaritan as usual.

🩺It’s National Doctors’ Day – a time to say a special thank you to physicians everywhere for the vital role they play in fostering health and healing.

⭐Every day throughout our region, physicians provide life-affirming and life-saving care. Some also help train the next generation of physicians through our Medical Education program. Others generously volunteer their time in local free clinics, on medical missions throughout the world or in other community leadership roles.

Please join us in recognizing Baylee Ryan, RN, from the Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital Emergency Department, as one of our Rising Stars! 🌟 Baylee recently jumped in to help stabilize a critically ill patient and offered support during a difficult transfer. She also assisted another Emergency Department during a challenging shift that involved caring for a child and coordinating through tense family dynamics. Her professionalism and teamwork helped patients and staff feel supported throughout the day. 👏

Thank you to the more than 50 community members — including District 16 Rep. Sarah Finger McDonald and Albany Mayor Alex Johnson — who toured SamCare Mobile Medicine’s new prenatal and postpartum clinic at Monarch on 4th! 🙌 Your questions and support made the open house truly energizing, and we’re grateful to Samaritan's Emily Yeast and Bryan Stephens for leading thoughtful tours and conversations.
We’re excited to launch weekly services starting Monday, April 6, offering walk‑in prenatal care, postpartum support, parenting resources and peer support every Monday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 🌼👶 With a certified nurse midwife, traditional health worker, behavioral health team and Samaritan clinicians onboard, we’re ready to support families across Benton and Linn counties — and several have already signed up for opening day! 💙🤝

Let’s celebrate Karrie Spier, CMA, at Samaritan Family Medicine - Main St., who is one of our Rising Stars this month! 🌟 A patient suddenly couldn’t walk after arriving for an appointment, and Karrie responded instantly. She gathered what was needed, directed nearby staff and brought in a clinician right away. Her quick action helped identify a possible stroke and made sure the patient received fast care. 💙 Karrie’s steady presence made a real difference for everyone involved.

We had a great time at the Sweet Home Oregon Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center Annual Awards Banquet and enjoyed connecting with the local businesses and individuals that keep this community moving. Our table, inspired by this year’s theme A Legacy of Liberty, won Best Dressed Table which was a fun surprise and a highlight of the night! Thanks to the chamber for hosting a spirited event and bringing everyone together. 💙❤️

Because of aging equipment, patients sometimes had to travel to Corvallis for heart imaging. Thanks to generous donors—and the dedication of our Imaging team—a new state-of-the-art Echo machine was installed this month. 🩺💙

This $170,575 donor-funded upgrade helps staff better detect blockages and advanced heart disease, ensuring patients receive top-quality care close to home. 🏥✨
