Fourteen students recently received a total of $45,000 in scholarships from the Lebanon Community Hospital Foundation to help them step into nursing and medical careers!๐ŸŽ‰

Because of support like this, we'll see more:
๐ŸฉบFuture nurses holding a stethoscope for the first time.
๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€โš•๏ธFuture doctors committed to making a difference in rural communities.
โค๏ธ Future caregivers who will sit at someoneโ€™s bedside on a hard day and say, โ€œYouโ€™re not alone.โ€

And all of it is possible because local donors chose to invest in real people with big dreams and even bigger hearts.

Welcoming a new baby is one of lifeโ€™s biggest moments. It can be beautiful, overwhelming and vulnerable all at once.

The Moms Club of Mid Valley stepped in with a simple message: โ€œWeโ€™ve got you.โ€

They created 50 toiletry kits for parents delivering at Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital, each one packed with thoughtful essentials to make a big day feel a little easier.

Because even the tiniest gifts can create the biggest lifts. โœจ

Oregon State Credit Union shows up where it matters most. โค๏ธ

They support early reading for kids ๐Ÿ“š, help expand hospital spaces ๐Ÿฅ, make sure we have the equipment our patients need โš™๏ธ and even sponsor our Samaritan Scramble โ›ณ๏ธ.

Why? Because they believe everyone in the community deserves great care close to home. And they keep asking, โ€œWhat else can we do?โ€

Their Wilsonville branch manager even serves on the Lebanon Community Hospital Foundation Board and brings big energy to our Garden Committee. ๐ŸŒฑ

Thatโ€™s why OSCU is one of our 2025 Community Champions.

These festive community events are all about creating memorable moments, fostering connections and celebrating the joy of the season. Be sure to check them out!

Happy holidays from all of us at Samaritan Health Services. โ„๏ธ

Healing is hard. Healing while hungry is even harder.

Because of generous community support, the Lebanon Community Hospital Foundation provides six emergency food backpacks each month to those in need. Each one has three days of ready-to-eat food for patients who need help right away.

These backpacks support people who are unhoused, living without power or unable to cook. Itโ€™s simple, practical help that keeps people nourished while they heal.

This month, Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital is celebrating two incredible Rising Stars who made a positive impact on the lives of their patients.๐Ÿ’™

๐ŸŒŸ Kate Lane, PA-C, supported her patient through a difficult diagnosis and series of treatment challenges. Her persistence and compassion helped the patient stay hopeful and find a path forward with confidence.

๐ŸŒŸ Patsy Yelsa, physical therapist, helped turn a scary moment into a hopeful journey for a young family. Her encouragement and positivity helped a little girl thrive, and gave her parents the support they didnโ€™t know they needed.

Thank you, Kate and Patsy! ๐Ÿ’ซ
