Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital is a full-service, 25-bed critical access hospital serving the east Linn County communities of Lebanon, Sweet Home, Brownsville and smaller neighboring Oregon communities. The hospital is one of Samaritan Health Services' five non-profit hospitals with the mission of building healthier communities together.

Fourteen students recently received a total of $45,000 in scholarships from the Lebanon Community Hospital Foundation to help them step into nursing and medical careers!🎉

Because of support like this, we'll see more:
🩺Future nurses holding a stethoscope for the first time.

❤️ Future caregivers who will sit at someone’s bedside on a hard day and say, “You’re not alone.”

The safety of parents and babies has always been—and will always be—our priority. Due to unexpected physician departures, a regional OB-GYN shortage, and the need for continuous inpatient physician coverage to safely support deliveries, we will 𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐲 pause labor and delivery services at Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital beginning 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟏𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔. Outpatient OB-GYN care will continue at the Lebanon Health Center on Fifth Street on a limited basis.

𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞.

We remain fully committed to restoring services as quickly and safely as possible and are actively recruiting clinicians.

Welcoming a new baby is one of life’s biggest moments. It can be beautiful, overwhelming and vulnerable all at once.

The Moms Club of Mid Valley stepped in with a simple message: “We’ve got you.”

They created 50 toiletry kits for parents delivering at Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital, each one packed with thoughtful essentials to make a big day feel a little easier.

Because even the tiniest gifts can create the biggest lifts. ✨

They support early reading for kids 📚, help expand hospital spaces 🏥, make sure we have the equipment our patients need ⚙️ and even sponsor our Samaritan Scramble ⛳️.

🌟Raymond Simon II, MD, at Samaritan Behavioral Health & Recovery Clinic – Lebanon, was recognized for his compassion and commitment to patient-centered care. Dr. Simon consistently goes above and beyond to support patients with complex needs, bringing empathy and collaboration to every interaction.

🌟Randy Hooley, manager of Plant Engineering, was honored for his proactive leadership and dedication to keeping hospital operations running smoothly. From organizing critical system tests to managing complex facilities challenges, Randy demonstrates clear communication and a positive, can-do attitude.

Healing is hard. Healing while hungry is even harder.

Because of generous community support, the Lebanon Community Hospital Foundation provides six emergency food backpacks each month to those in need. Each one has three days of ready-to-eat food for patients who need help right away.

These backpacks support people who are unhoused, living without power or unable to cook. It’s simple, practical help that keeps people nourished while they heal.

📣 We’re excited to share big news: Samaritan Health Services is affiliating with MultiCare Health System, a highly respected, mission-driven organization based in Washington, serving the Pacific Northwest. Samaritan will remain locally governed while gaining new resources to expand access, modernize facilities and strengthen health care across our region. This marks MultiCare’s first health system affiliation in Oregon.

🌟 Kate Lane, PA-C, supported her patient through a difficult diagnosis and series of treatment challenges. Her persistence and compassion helped the patient stay hopeful and find a path forward with confidence.

🌟 Patsy Yelsa, physical therapist, helped turn a scary moment into a hopeful journey for a young family. Her encouragement and positivity helped a little girl thrive, and gave her parents the support they didn’t know they needed.
