Spring View Hospital is proud to welcome Dr. Christopher Sims, MD, board-certified Family Medicine Obstetrician (FM-OB), to the Spring View Hospital Women’s Center for labor and delivery services!

A long-standing and trusted physician serving families in Stanford, Kentucky, Dr. Sims will now deliver his patients at Spring View Hospital, bringing his legacy of compassionate, family-centered care to our Women’s Center.

"Most people would describe Amanda Thompson as sweet and soft spoken. While this is true, her clinical expertise, attention to detail and dedication to patient safety make her an asset not only to the pharmacy department, but also to Spring View Hospital."

Amanda is always willing to help others, whether trouble shooting medication issues, catching potential safety concerns, or helping within the department with various projects, her enthusiasm and positivity are evident. When counseling patients about complex medication regimens, her empathy and kindness shines through. Interdisciplinary collaboration skills, including offering clinical insight and dosing recommendations, makes our hospital a safer place to receive care. Today, we had the honor of celebrating the incredible physicians who make Spring View Hospital what it is 💙

Our doctors gathered together for a special Doctors’ Day lunch, enjoying a delicious meal of salad, steak, and baked potatoes—but more importantly, sharing time, laughter, and appreciation for the meaningful work they do every single day.

Each of our physicians was also presented with a red carnation, a symbol of gratitude and recognition for their dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment to caring for our community.
