We are excited to introduce Valerie Umberger, MS, OTR/L, to the Quest, Inc. team. Valerie brings a strong educational background, years of professional experience, and a deep personal passion for helping others live life to the fullest.

Her journey into this field began in childhood, inspired by her brother’s need for additional support. Since then, Valerie has devoted her life to caring for others, including providing foster and adoptive care and raising five adopted children, one of whom has complex medical needs.

With 14 years of experience across nursing homes and private school settings for children with autism, Valerie offers valuable knowledge in physical, behavioral, and academic wellness. She is passionate about supporting the whole family, identifying individual needs, and connecting people with the resources they need to thrive.

This week has been quite pleasant, with the spring-like weather teasing participants and staff with the chance to eat outside. We also received a photo of a participant in the day program who is with the Special Olympics at a bowling event in Reno, Nevada, and we are cheering him on.
Staff and participants also donated mats to the shelter in Harrisburg, this is a total of 30 plastic mats woven and donated.
