Friday, the participants of our program got the opportunity to go to the grand opening of the new heart Gallery and market. They have a new expanded gallery, exhibit and retail market featuring products that support individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Pictures were taken next to some of their favorite pieces.
Also some life skill goals being worked on and a late photo of the maintenance man dressed for Halloween.

The only way to do great work is to love what you do.
You have to accept that they will repeat themselves or tell the same story from the past 100 times. Or have a loud voice; we should all have a loud voice so we can be heard. You have to love what you do to do great work. The Jaycees have a line in their creed: “Service to humanity is the best work of life.” I have said that line thousands of times in the past, never knowing that my future would lead to human services. If you don’t have empathy for the little quirks, daily human services is not your line of work.
