Today we celebrated Thanksgiving with our wonderful residents and their families, and our hearts are full! It was a beautiful day of connection, laughter, and gratitude shared around the table.

A huge thank-you to our incredible kitchen staff,who worked tirelessly to prepare such an amazing meal for our community. Your hard work, dedication, and love truly made this day special for everyone. 🙌🦃✨

🌟 Staff Spotlight: Nicholette Matos 🌟

Meet our amazing Resident Care Coordinator, Nicholette Matos!

Nicholette has been a dedicated part of our community for 10 years, serving our residents with compassion, strength, and a heart for caregiving.

Before Best Care Senior Living took over in March, many will remember Nicholette as the Activities Director at the former Superior Residences of Lecanto. Since transitioning into her new role as Resident Care Coordinator, she now oversees our clinical department, ensuring our residents receive the highest level of care and support.

Nicholette was born and raised in Crystal River, and has been a CNA for over 20 years. She is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner, bringing invaluable experience and knowledge to our memory care community.

At home, Nicholette is happily married to Anthony Matos, our Maintenance Director, and together they raise two wonderful boys. 💙

Some fun facts about Nicholette:

🎶 She’s a big country music fan

🥾 She enjoys hiking and reading in her spare time

Miss Frani was born and raised in Washington, D.C., where she spent her career as a dedicated building professional. Her eye for detail, structure, and design has followed her throughout her life — and now into her favorite hobby: painting! 🎨

She loves expressing herself through art, and we are so excited to see the beautiful creations she’ll bring to our community.

🧶 Crochet Corner at Best Care Senior Living 💙

On Wednesday, November 19th, our Executive Director Tammy Baker brought in her own crochet supplies to help one of our newest residents feel more at home. Knowing how much she loves to crochet, Tammy created a special moment just for her — a chance to relax, connect, and do something comforting and familiar.

Before long, a few of our wonderful ladies joined in, and together they created a cozy little Crochet Corner filled with conversation, creativity, and genuine companionship. Moments like these remind us why community, compassion, and personal connection matter so much.

We’re grateful for leaders like Tammy who go the extra mile to make our residents feel loved and supported. 💕

☕ Good Afternoon from Best Care Senior Living! 🎳

We kicked off our day with coffee and conversations, giving everyone a chance to chat, reconnect, and welcome our newest resident into our Best Care family. Nothing starts the morning better than warm smiles and fresh coffee!

This afternoon, we kept the fun going with a lively game of bowling in the activity room! Our residents showed off their skills — and their sense of humor — as we cheered each other on. Lots of laughs, friendly competition, and unforgettable moments.

We love seeing our residents stay active, social, and engaged. 💙
