Attention Please!!!
Its been brought to my attention that rumors, talk is going around that I'm retiring or semi retiring from shearing. Thats news to me. 😠I have no plans on quitting shearing anytime soon.
I'LL SAY IT AGAIN for the folks in the back. I'M NOT RETIRING.
I don't know how / if my schedule may change because of my absence this past season. Ill be beginning the scheduling process earlier this year, so I can make necessary changes.
I posted in August that my Drs signed off on my PT and I could return to work. Since August I've shorn over 60 cria & a few adult alpacas along with about 300 sheep. Im able to do everything I've been doing. Ive kept yall updated along my injury, surgery and recovery. Ive NOT ONCE mentioned retiring. So wherever this comes from is upsetting to me. I truly appreciate the friends that's giving me the word on the streets (or in the barns)
Please share this with anyone needing shearing next spring/summer. Don't accept false information without checking in with me FIRST.
YES, I have "officially " bought my family farm in Pennsylvania. Yes.. at some point in the next year or two I'll likely move back to the farm where I was born and raised. But THAT doesn't mean I still can't travel shearing. We'll worry about that whenever it happens. But that's none of yalls concerns right now. Thanks for your time,
patience and understanding, Jay. Scheduling Emails will be coming soon after Thanksgiving. # mariachershearingservices.
