Older adults seeking support in Allegheny County may soon face new limits on services — and longer waits to access them.

The county’s Area Agency on Aging, an office within the Department of Human Services, is facing a projected shortfall of more than $5 million in its roughly $50 million budget, officials announced Friday morning.
