As we gather with loved ones this Thanksgiving, may we put differences/judgements aside, and be reminded that some of the most meaningful investments we make are found around the dinner table….shared meals, traditions, games, laughter, an ear to listen, support for each other, and moments of human connection away from scrolling.

May moments of this holiday continue into the reality of your day to day life. Thank you for the support of our business and the opportunity to work with you and your patients with a goal to continue dinner table core memories for others!

I wish fb Ai would allow us to post pics/videos of the throat.

False ventricular fold hyperfunction with poor adduction of the true vocal folds can result in penetration/aspiration of thin liquids! Treating the voice impairment can help the dysphagia. Are we gonna see Muscle Tension Dysphagia as a newly added code like we have Muscle Tension Dysphonia? A benefit of FEES…visuslization of the anatomy and function of the laryngeal vestibule!

There are other breathing devices that work against resistance besides the EMST 75, however, did you know that this particular one is considered DME so every person with Medicare is entitled to a free one once in his/her life?

Beneficial for the nursing center resident, especially those who may not have the strength to activate more challenging ones. What RMST devices are you familiar with?
EMST 150 or 75? Breather? Powerlung? Pickle Acapella? Aerobica? Incentive Spirometer?
